Anybody thinking 8/8.5m is not even close. I’d guess 5 maybe 6yrs is most any team offers on the open market. Age factor. If more then it’s not a contender or in JTM’s window for the cup most likely.

Krug, Pietroangelo, Hyman all signed 7 year contracts after getting to UFA and are the same age range. Miller would get that as well. Only way he can sign 8 is with the team he's currently with.

Canucks have 24+130=154 in 77 games from D-men this season (exactly 2.00 points per game). Even with Quinn Hughes about to set franchise records, D-production flat year over year

It's not last I believe but it's definitely in the bottom half of the league. Best teams D's are scoring at around 180 plus right now. Some over 200.

Canucks are not getting the production they should for what they pay. Considering Hughes has a 1/3 of the defence's points alone.
