Leafs getting absolutely pounded tonight 8-1. Lefty you should go offer them some Flyers players for next season.

TB 5/6 on the PP

And that’s a likely first round matchup!

Kings probably make the playoffs, but they ain’t a playoff team. This game is sloppy.

I thought they looked tired to me, it’s been quite a run, missing Bo and Pearson hurts, 3 scoring lines with them in there, oh well solid 60 games or so.
- Bettmanhatesus

Disagree, that second period was awesome. I mean, sure they missed Bo and Tansey, but there was plenty of jump, just outmatched a little.

Brackett never won in Van. or Van never won with Brackett. whatever.

We all know the biggest problem was still Weisbrod.

It’s because Weisbrod was whispering gunnerson gunnerson gunnerson all afternoon in Jim’s ear

Minny just wears you down and waits for a breakdown, which the Canucks do frequently. They’re also skilled. Terrible defensive play by Podkolzin.

Podkolzin works really hard but he doesn’t accomplish much. He doesn’t have the puck skills or confidence yet to make plays with the puck.

He's been good lately, but not so much tonight. I wasn't sold on him when he was drafted or even last year, but I feel better about him after this season. I don't think he's ever going to be the most dynamic offensive player, but he'll be a nice powerforward who you can play along side some skilled players.

Demko needs to learn to shut the door in times when the team is on 3 in 4 nights, they looked tired, when he’s on he makes those saves.
- Bettmanhatesus

Demko's 63rd game tonight. Career high is 35 I believe.

Career high in games for most of the Canuck players will happen this season if it hasn't already. Half of the development have been shortened seasons. Injuries or covid years.

Petey, Podz , Garland, Hughes, Lammikko, Boeser (if he lasts the last 4), Demko, Hoglander, Highmore, Burroughs

In the book, there's a "hot take" from someone that said that they thought Gunnarsson was a great pick and he will 100% be in the NHL one day.

Benning wasn't the only one who thought he would play

Well we had a good push, lots of positives to take from this bubble team but the d is the issue and has been for a long time now. Love the push from Bo, ep, Hughes, Demi and Miller to get us here but we need more. Pods is another keeper but beyond him anything goes and I would sell high on Miller if the price was high.

Petey now tied for Canucks goal lead. Man, that's a big turn around for an AHL player

Dallas and Vegas have to play each other then they get Arizona and Chicago.

It's over.

Dallas and Vegas both run each others goalies, huge fights ensues, 10 players on each team on LTIR, multiple suspensions, then they have to use their ECHL goalies and get lit up in their last two games

He's tired you can tell. Some weak ones going in past while but good on him for trying hard. Whole team look tired really.
