Not sure how many times people need to be told this… it’s not Gary’s decision. It’s the board of governors that decide by vote on any relocation. - TurdFergeson
Wow...that club has bled 20-30 million in cash every year for most of it's existence. You can bet Bettman has his filthy little hands in there. Just move the f ucking team already. Wake up. |

It has regardless of who is coaching. I'm looking forward to a summer of big changes. Get that Benning stench off the team. - Marwood
Try to get some of his drafted defenders up in the big leagues. |

Wake up what? I have said many times they should move. But it’s not up to Bettman. Amazing how much people give him crap for things he doesn’t decide. He can advise the owners and governors but at the end of the day it’s out of his hands.
Wake up!! |

Canucks are the 8th best defensive team in the league lol. Demko is tired you can tell. Pretty basic. But the team is also. A good run they tried hard lots of credit. Hopefully Boudreau is here next year. - LordHumungous

40 goals and 100 points for Tkachuk. Good thing LH and Benning decided the Canucks didn’t need a player like him.

Oh I’m sure there is a stat somewhere that he’s quoting, but I bet there is also another that says they aren’t.
They give up too many shots, too many scoring chances and don’t control the play enough to be top 8 in anything.
Markstrom you can have, but me and the posse are coming for Tanev, Thulsa Doom style. |

Just criminal how Benning and company pooched that draft….criminal. Missing on Virtanen and Juolevi really hurt the franchise long term. Teams miss on occasion top six but rarely do they do it twice from great draft positions two out of three years |

The defensive MVP? Actually, now that I've thought about it, Myers should get that award – which team wouldn't trade a 1st for a defensive MVP?
Ya Shesterkin is having a crazy year - NewYorkNuck
The award is best Defenseman. Not Defensive MVP (Demko). I must have missed how Hughes came up clutch down the stretch here.
The entire team looked spent, I don't blame them. Lots of intense hockey over the last little while. It was a big ask and they were missing a couple of key guys. The depth wasn't there to pick it up and they just hit the wall. Fun little run to watch though.
Maybe you and Mini could channel some of the anger that your feeling right now and use it's energy to do something positive. In reality this team just got finished providing us something few people thought they were capable of. Maybe it's leadership will follow suit in the offseason.
Cheers. |

Money Puck has the Canucks in the middle of just about every single category
Right about where they are in the standings.
Tale of two seasons though. |

So, any combination of LA getting 2 points, or Vancouver missing 2 points and the Kings are in (Vegas aside), for Nashville that number is 3 (but they have 1 game in hand) and for Dallas it’s 5. That means that even if the Canucks lose to the Flames, and the Kings, Stars and Preds win on Saturday the Canucks can’t officially be eliminated until Tuesday. |

I’m not buying the they were tired narrative. They looked pretty good, scored 3 which is enough to win most nights with Demko in net. To make the playoffs in this league, you have to play this way for 82, so if they’re tired after 50 there is a problem. |

Ya true, drafting petey instead of glass when everyone wanted glass was a positive, jake was an owners pick and juolevi we had no D in the pipeline at the time, injuries derailed him, |

Gary works for all the owners, all of them, and if they collectively decide they want the team in Arizona and they’ll continue to fund it, then that’s their decision not Gary’s.
Now, I’m sure he has an opinion about it but the money is not coming out of his pocket, it’s coming out of the owners pockets. I understand it’s easier to just blame one person, but again, the owners ultimately run the league and have the final say. |
