Just got home from the game. So much fun this afternoon.

Skinner was in the Isles head all game. Can't wait to see him in the playoffs next season.

So much fun. Great crowd. All of the quiet miserable people who would never cheer have been flushed out.

Next year will be epic. I may try brining the B O X chant over. Our power play deserves it.

Next year, I’d make the lines something like this:

Skinner-Tage-Olofsson
*Olofsson fits just fine on that line imo

Asplund-Girgs-Okposo
*swap Asplund & Girgs depending on who looks better at Center
This line gets the majority of the toughest defensive assignments

Krebs-Mitts-Tuch
*this line should be capable of SOME defensive icetime

Peterka-Cozens-Quinn
*Cozens is fairly responsible defensively & these 3 kids should light it up offensively
This is also NOT a “4th” line. I think it would roughly get decent 5v5 time that would grow as the season goes along
Cozens could also move up & play with Tuch, and Mitts or Krebs could take his place on this line

Get a real nhl goalie, have UPL back him up and find another top 6 forward and maybe a top 4 dman, still not sold on Joker in the top 4 (but I like him as a bottom pair/PP guy)

And u could shelter the kids with heavy offensive situations as they grow

We’re gonna have a lot of youth in our lineup no matter what
Put that youth in situations/roles where they can be successful

Don’t be sending Peterka (or whoever) up against other teams’ top scorers early on
The “kids” still need plenty of developing
Put them into tougher roles when they’re ready

If Quinn comes up and snipes 30 isn't that the same thing? Maybe they *know* Quinn can score 30 now.

Is there a scenario where they go get a top 6 FA and Peterka becomes the 13th forward injury callup? Keeps everyone hungry, and no team in history goes without injury.

joker at 2.5 per for 2 years is fine on the third pair with a nasty free agent at his side playing 12 minutes a night if an upgrade is found

joker will still get pk time so playing around 16 minutes a night
