Yeah, he tore it up in a Covid bubble. Jack was just the guy who got a point as his team lost. He had his shots to lift teams into the playoffs multiple times in his career now, and he comes up short every time. Hell, he even managed to get stripped for OV's 50th goal late in the 3rd period so WAS could tie a game last week. He's the opposite of a big game player.

Kane is the best American hockey player ever IMO.

Plus, JFC, he's barely 5 months out from major neck surgery

Scoring at a 32 goal pace after major surgery and not playing for a year is pretty good

Sure, if you look at the bigger picture it's not a disappointment. But when you have 4 games that your team has to have and your star center is a now-show? That's a different story. They got him for games like this and he has supposedly been chomping at the bit to be in them.

He’s someone I would trade tbh. Top 6 going to get crowded in the years his contract will be. I rather have a bigger power forward who adds more than just his shot. Another tuch type player.
