name the last goalie that left St. Louis and put up good numbers? I have never actually watched him play just a general concern because of where he plays.
- SabresFaninIndiana

Elliott was good there and did it, moved to CAL and TB after and did well. He struggled in PHI but they're like the inverse of STL in that every goalie struggles there.

I get why Hutton and to a lesser extent Allen/Binnington could give you pause, but I just didn't know if there was something in Husso's game. He looked solid to me when I saw him in a couple games this year.

I'm not sure they would have to be crazy seasons. Dahlin's class of D just got 8-9m. Just guessing that's 9-10 at that point.

May be early to talk about this, but if you're paying those 2, Skinner, and Tage 8m+ then that's what you're building around. Any big contract/trade they make now needs to factor in those projections.

Who in Dahlin's draft got 8 9 mill? Hughes got 7.8

Imagine having a log jam of prospects coming up through your system in 2 to 3yrs because your core of your team is 25 and younger.

Might've been thinking of this guy, who was the prior draft.

Right, I don't have any concerns about Cozens at all. I don't know what his ceiling is - I like the idea of him being a Peca-ish player (25 goals, strong 2-way player that is tough to play against and works his tail off).

I also don't agree with the claim that he turns the puck over a lot. If memory serves me his defensive fancy stats are very good.

Nurse got 9.25, Makar 9m, Heiskanen 8.45.

good post. I may have been thinking back to a particular post where Chad pointed out that he played better with certain line mates / situations.

Ya, didn't really mean his draft class, meant his RFA class.

I'm not here to rag on him but his defensive ability tends to be over exaggerated for whatever reason. That part of the game will improve with time.

At least he's (mostly) stopped doing the thing where he enters the offensive zone, pulls up and then passes the puck to the other team. That was infuriating

he looks more like Erik Rasmussen then a second line center

That's not a bad comparison, although (if memory serves) Rasmussen didn't have a ton of grit. It always felt like he wasn't going full-throttle and that certainly isn't an issue with Cozens.

This is his first season with a real coach.

Let's give him some time before we write him as a 3rd liner

Not trying to make excuses but people have to remember to that some of these young kids lost out on a year or more of development time with the pandemic.

Think Samuelsson helps, he is so calm.
