thought I heard donnie mention synergy in a post game presser

I threw the phone down hoping it was a bad dream

- homiedclown

Think Donnie and Ralph use the word Synergy in there meaning in different ways.

Come on thatguy, now you're pretending you like tough power forwards that punch people in the face?

Like you were advocating for someone that hurts other players feelings on the ice.

Why do I need Matthew Tkachuk for 8 years? He's a guy they could use, but he's definitely not the only one. Getting a guy you need and not signing him to a dumbass contract don't have to be mutually exclusive.
- buffalofan19

You get a guy like Thachuk he checks all the boxes team leader toughness and scoring! And he is still young. Mid 20’s I think. You are a fool not too.

Are we really sure we want to rely on that? His durability isn't the strongest part of his game.

Send mitts to Gary Roberts school. Will be a tolally different player.

He's a dog on the puck, if Cozens could score right now his offensive game would be better to.

panther 1st rd pick
laaksonen or fitzgerald
bryson or a 3rd rd pick

it would make it a fun 2 year ride

That package wouldn’t get him though
They’d want more high end pieces
Think of him as their “Eichel”

Imagine how good the Yankees staff would look if Cole wasn't a bum.

Putting Peterka on the “defensive” line doesn’t make much sense to me

Dahlin took a 20 game sabbatical to start the year and still had the best season by a Sabres d-man in my lifetime.

that is like 3 firsts and 2 thirds for a 2 year rental

may not be the actual price needed but it's in the ball park IMO for the conversation

So like. Where would this team be if Reinhart had re-signed long-term? Would he still be at a .ppg and would it have equated to 5 more wins, 10 more points and comfortably in that 9th place bubble all year?

I usually hate the "what if" game, but if skunk is here and Anderson stayed healthy, we could have been right outside of that 8th sport all year... Maybe finished at like 90 points? Add 5 more wins and say half the OT losses and that's about 15 extra points as is and that would have us at 88 right now. Still not close to Washington but still a cut above all the other bottom dwellers.

Morale victory? Idk. It would have proven once and for all that Eichel was the problem for sure.

Rookies take a while to get their feet wet. Could be a good spot for him for his growing pains.

That top 9 is a playoff caliber.

Joker, Mitts, 1st and rights to Portillo

for

Scheifele, Hellebyuck

- BeadyEyedDouche

That’s not even enough for Scheifele, let alone adding in Hellebyuck

Dahlin might push for a PPG next year.

Especially if Adams makes the tweaks he needs up front to give us some more oomph

Mitts no longer has 1st round value imo
I think they’d want someone better

And neither Bryson or the young defensemen u mentioned have much value

Quantity doesn’t equal quality
They aren’t gonna give away Scheifele for cheap

You could really see him start to have fun again as the year went on. It was great to watch him slowly recover from Ralph/Eichel synergy. I'm not sure about a PPG but 70 points isn't out of the question.

Solid, solid crowd. I would say 13 - 15k, and it got loud in the 2nd and 3rd. We love this team already. Love. I don't need anyone but a goalie. I can go to war with these guys and the kids coming. Tage Thompson was right in there when Skinner got into it, just like he should be. Even Power got into it. They'll all have 10lbs more of muscle next year they're so young.

Any goalie would be a fool not to want to come watch this team play in front of him next season. They’ve got something special going.

Putting an offensive player in a defensive role is just gonna overwhelm him & kill his confidence

Better off just keeping him in Rochester if that’s your plan for him

Also….
With Asplund in your “top9” it would be logical to just swap him with JJ
Asplund is a much better fit on a defensive line
