The team needs more size, skill and speed….a top six winger, a whole new third line and two top six defencemen. Not to mention they need to get rid of some bad contracts from you know who - LeftCoaster
And some toughness. not just 42 year old Schenn.

Sort of ironic that more than likely the #Canucks will end the season having taken the most dramatic, unpredictable path imaginable to the likeliest conclusion considering their true talent.

Decent taken down. This is the dumb poop people do now because of tik tok and other such media platforms. You can see her friend with her phone out recording. Turns out this is over some chickens dying that were sick. |

According to Harman also, the team has exceeded their level of play. According to models
What's would give a more accurate set of results though?

Models work to a limit, and there are always outliers.
We'll see next year what the more accurate results are. A full year under Bouds, with more-than-likely a few new players, without the in-season bump, without the rallying point, with teams better aware. Hopefully the results will be just as good as his first 54 games. |

Not digging themselves into a massive hole to start the season always helps later on in the season I hear
Didn't get any end of season shiny toys this year either. Normally they provide a boost but hard when JB trades picks away all the time. |

I thought you meant between 25 games at .360% or 54 games at .639% for the more accurate set of results.
I guess the shiny toy this year was actually watching some exciting and meaningful hockey in April |

No 25 games was with Green and 54 with Bruce. If there wasn't a coaching change, the model is incorrect. If the change is made earlier, the model again is most likely not correct but the model doesn't account for that. Just players. So next season should we see a worse team again? |

Yes, I know the games were with Green and Bouds.
I'm just saying there are a lot of different factors and circumstances to extrapolate Bouds' season this season exactly into next.
From my understanding, the model is based off past performance plus trajectory based off comparables. Since the Canucks played way better under Bouds, the model should reflect that going into next season, though it likely won't suggest they're now a top team based off the 54 games. Also whatever players they add and drop in the off-season... trade JTM that projection drops, trade Myers you'll probably see a top 5 team |

Who needs balls when you have Pouty and Hughes on your team? |

Three 30 goal scorers. First time in over 25 years. Miller still can hit 100 points. Bo still improving year to year and a proven play off force. Hughes a franchise Dman, going to set a team record that has stood for decades. Demko a franchise goalie... team has been one of the best performers since Green was fired almost 5 months ago.
Tear it down for draft picks and prospects. Worse Canucks line up ever.

Team has missed Hoglander and Pearson. Lots of man games lost for the Canucks this season.
I probably wouldn't go to nuts in the off season. You hope for off season improvements for all the young players. They know better now. The 20 game sprint starts after the 82 game marathon. - manvanfan
Of all the excuses, injuries probably isn’t one of them this year, compared to past seasons anyway. It’s going to be difficult to make improvements in all the areas that need them given the salary cap constraints. |

Well we did have Hamonic and Motte here...
Would like to see D!ckenson dropped to 4LC. Need a 3LC right hand shot and a top 6 D (RH) that can move up/down the pairings.
Tweaks...
Oh and Boudreau back as well. If he's not back may as well have Jannik Hansen coach he's seems to be super smart. |
