Rutherford and Allvin will fix things, there will be plenty of drama coming this summer.

He should be in a retirement home. Too many senile geezers running countries and big companies into the ground.
American recession next year should be fun |

I heard the other day that the number of 30 goal scorers went from 25 last year to 40 this year (not exact numbers) . It was said a 30 goal scorer this year has an equivalence of a 25 goal scorer of the past 5 years . So the scoring numbers this year may be inflated. The point would still remain though that a 30 goal a year guy may not be as hard to find.
If you are trading Myers you still need to replace his minutes . I personally think you would need to give up an asset or retain cap to move him . Then you need to replace him and there are not a lot of high end D available. I think you need to draft your top D or else you are going to overpay or something.
As far as Miller goes if you are the other GM are you giving up a boatload to get him? He will be 30 next year and he is going to want to get paid before the cap crunch is over. Half the league next year will be building a team on a very tight budget.
There are only 2 maybe 3 teams that it would make sense to get a player like Miller but it will not be for a boatload. Then Canucks would need to replace him and for what he brings it will not be cheap.
I don't see a lot of great change next year . I see small additions . I would replace Boeser with Kane next year at 5 mil x 4 years and see what you can get for Brock but I don't think it will be a huge haul. |

It’s crazy to think that this team has not had a trio of 30 goal scorers in the past 27 seasons. In their history, they have had a trio of 30 goal scorers only four times and one season when they had four players who scored 30 (‘92 season).

Miller just turned 29 mid March, he’ll be 29 for 99% of next season. Point being a five year deal looks like this….29-30-31-32-33.
I thought I read Kane had no interest in Vancouver, too much attention. Home town and all. |

As opposed to the very little attention he got in Buf Wpg and SJ
Still don't think other GMs are giving up boatload for him. All speculation for now but I still think he gets extended here or traded at TDL for a first and a third like Toffoli. |

Canucks don't have a 2nd round pick.
https://www.sportsnet.ca/...t-rankings-april-edition/ - Reubenkincade
Sam Cosentino should talk to some scouts. His rankings are getting uglier every year. It's almost a black eye on sports net. Some twitter guy has been ripping through them all year and was blocked on twitter for highlighting all the mistakes. |

Thoughts on Chesley?
Sounds like a guy the Canucks need but he’s not the biggest guy for the role he plays - Nucker101
You don't play top pair on USDP and suck.
He's pretty much the same size as Charlie McAvoy.
I think Chesley belongs firmly in the top-20 conversation and with his play is worthy of a top-15 selection at the 2022 NHL Draft. -Austin Broad of NHLentrydraft.com
Chris Peters said he had talked to a Western conference scout and said that Chesley will go top 15. |

Not a big fan of Sam either, just pointing out that Chesley isn't even ranked in the 1st, by not only Sam, but several others.
Also, Sam tends to watch more than 5 minute video clips, before he ranks players😅 |

He eventually creates his own attention, he’s proven that everywhere he goes. Great player just can’t keep on the straight and narrow. With the success he’s having I see the Oilers making a big pitch for him. It will all come down to $, cause that’s what he needs, he picked Edmonton for a chance to build up his value by playing with either 97 or 29. I agree though exactly the type of player Vancouver needs. |

Panthers vs Lightning should be a good one tonight. Potential second round matchup.
Eleven teams with 100+ points thus far, possibly more, seems like a lot…no? |

11 AM start for the Oil...
Let's f'ing go!!
- LordHumungous
That Sillinger kid looks pretty darn good, too bad Benning traded that 9oa, he’d be great in a Canucks uni. If only.
They should have started Smitty, Koskinen just doesn’t scream confidence to the team. |

Oilers can not afford him. I seen a Tweet from Mark Spector last night basically saying if he wants more than 2 mil then he won't be an Oiler.
I would give him the 5 mil and move Boeser . It is not up to me but that is what I would do.

Sam does his own scouting, where as Chris Peter's was talking to a guy who's job it is to scout and that's what the scout said. I didn't say anything about Peter's rankings. |

Would have been nice to draft Dylan Guenther also and have a 2nd round pick this year. Ya know, making the Canucks a bubble team with cap issues was a better idea than a future presidents trophy. |

I feel truly blessed that Canucks were able to obtain an octogenarian that was fired from his last position.
