Looking forward to the Flyers who finally get to start a true rebuild. Lots of talented youngsters with a few high quality vets. It'll take a few years. Problem is that Fletcher certainly hasn't shown the ability to mold a winning team in Minny or here. I've said this repeatedly, Scott isn't the guy thst should be running things, especiallly now. |

Who is the best player in the Flyers lineup today? Sanheim? |

Probably Farabee. He's got the most upside.

I will not miss Yandle and the fake shots and head head fakes, not sure it worked even once this season. |

I like that line. Good for Frost going to the net again. |

Yes. With his useless body shielding of Crosby, while Crosby takes the puck away from Hayes anyway while behind Hayes. |

The Ellis situation has to be resolved either way. Healthy and ready to go by TC or LTIR. - Trox88
I was beating this to death the other day.
Best thing that could happen is for to him to retire, get off the cap.
MJL explained the other day the CBA requires the teams to insure the top 6 contracts ( $$) so his money is guaranteed by the team.
Most people think he will not walk away from 30 million.. at this point him hobbling away would be the best for the cap. |

Said that earlier this week, looks like a line that has a little of everything. If they can be consistent, a definite plus for next season |

Yeah, that was a beauty. I didn’t say he was the best Flyers player. Just maybe better than Farabee right now. |

Agreed, leave Frost at center. I don t think they should sign a center. Now if they win the lottery then Wright has to play center.

I am far from a cap expert, but guys have been buried on LTIR before Ellis. For me, I don't understand how they entertain any Provy trade offers with Ellis's health so murky. With such little info. on his health, certainly tend to believe it is not good news. |

You didn't grasp what was said. Every player has a guaranteed contract. Every player. Ellis getting paid the remainder of his contract if he doesn't play again because of injury has nothing to do with insurance. He isn't going to retire. |

I have no followed the injury of players at all this season. So Sean Couturier is a back injury? And we just signed him to a long term deal as our number one center? I’m not poking fun and I’m sure we’ve come along way in the business of healing but watching John LeClair go from a consist 50 guy to back injuries was tough to watch. |

To be fair, the back injury came after the ridiculously long contract. It doesn’t make the contract any better tho. Flyers injuries are top secret, so who knows what the prognosis is. |

I had no idea it was a back injury until the game just told me. So once I saw that, right away I’m thinking we’re destined to repeat this none sense next season whether Coots plays or not. Back injuries are one of the worst injuries in any sport as you enter 30. |

Funny how really good he is surrounded by talent.
Chances he resigns in FLA?
I’d say yes. - konalover711
I don’t think they will have the cap space to re-sign the G-man.
As much as I’m sure they would love to keep him on the team.
