Yeah, they never showed why marchment was in box earlier.
Lomberg really popped Cernak, and A lot of poop was happening afterwards and they never gave the calls. Guess everyone on bench let the refs have it afterwards, they threw everyone out. Buccigros Never said why, just said, oh there they go...

They can’t spend so much time in the box, TB will beat them every time. Especially if FL power play doesn’t match them. Even if FL kills them off, it wears the top guys out doing so 12 minutes a game.
FL chances are better when it’s 5v5 and they’re rolling four lines.

Bennett vs Sergachev was nuts. Sergachev was really throwing them, too. Haven’t seen fight like that in a long time.

That was a great fight. Bennett won the fight for sure but Sergachev is a big strong kid, he stayed in there did not quit and came back and landed a nice right at the end.

Then Wes made it all about the refs. He did the same thing to the Lightning earlier this year when he tossed Cooper and I think Perry. Did not understand all the Panther ejections at the end besides Lomberg.

I was just hoping for no injuries but the players had other ideas.

Probably won't like this take but I didnt like Lomberg popping Cernak when the refs had them wrapped. Square up and fight him, I felt that was a little cheap.

Overall these two teams when they play are fun to watch. Here is too hoping for a second round matchup and pacemakers on the ready.

One of the two hardest teams for them to beat taken out for them.
If they can win a round, that is. None of the possible opponents have been easy wins.

Ha ya and even cernaks roughing penalty earlier in the game i saw it happen (although still a weak call i would say) and they did replay that call and didnt run the tape far enough. Then callahan the tool was like well i didnt see anything there. No you wouldnt when you dont run the tape far enough dopey!

In the beginning the Ref comes in to the fray in a way that locks up Cernak but leaves Lomberg free allowing Lomberg to unload a right over the ref that Cernak could not really protect against. The ref half assed the breakup and allowed that to happen. Cernak got a weak left hook cheap one back when they separated so I guess its a wash.

Fun game, again heres to hoping for a second round matchup.

Clip of the fight, at the end it shows the hit sergachev put on Giroux that Bennett was not happy with. The game was nearly a steady parade to penalty box for both teams. On a night where they are calling every little thing, they let a hit like that go. How the hell do they not call that? TB scored the 5th goal right afterwards, too.

Cernak did hit him with refs in between. Cernak was pissed because Lomberg really drilled him right as the linesman was trying to step in. Linesman just gotta get out of the frickin way there, wait til the other linesman is there and then they each grab one guy.
(Idk, maybe linesman never saw Lomberg fight and thought he had to stop Cernak before he pummeled Lomberg? Looked like he might’ve kept Cernak from trying to get his guard up. Lomberg was throwing the punch right as the linesman reached in.)
