No. Whether or not Adams should be fired should be totally contingent on what he does going forward. This team made the decision to gut the team and rebuild. He's completed the tear-down, which is the easy part. Now, go make them a playoff contender.

The Panthers have a similar problem as the Coyotes, though not as extreme, in that they picked one of the worst places in the area to build an arena. That being said, Florida's attendance is much better now that they're more than decent. Vegas' arena is right in the heart of everything.

That’s not really true. The fans are spread out from Broward down into Dade, and up into Palm Beach County and Treasure Coast. Fans even come across from SW FL for games. It’s pretty centrally located in as much as where fans are coming from. No matter where it is located, traffic will be a concern.
In the heart of everything aka downtown Miami....probably lose as many/more driving down as they’d gain locally.
I do think the Panthers owners will try to find a place for new arena over in Ft Lauderdale, though.

Sure out of towners help, it might save them for a bit if they do sh!t the bed. But they aren't getting 10,000 visiting fans for every game.

Lots of Vegas born, " zing it" fans.

Certain teams like buffalo will fill that stadium, buffaloieins love vegas, love a good Sabres team.

Hopefully ticket prices catch up to the team missing the playoffs

I think part of the reason that this team has been is because we have a lot of really good skaters and most nights we are the better-skating team. If Reinhart is 1C we don't have that. More importantly, we might still be questioning Tage's ceiling if he was 2C this year.

That's why I keep banging the drum though of getting another center in here, at Thompson's caliber (or better if you can pull it off). A 60-70 point center to slot in between Thompson and Cozens does wonders for this team's depth up the middle. I don't trust Mittelstadt to be able to play that role, or even be healthy enough for an entire season to do so, and I don't want to bank on Krebs being that guy just yet.

Florida is my pick all year to win the cup.

trading Rhino was the biggest mistake ever IMO.

This is why I don't see another defenseman as such a big need as the rest. Fix the goaltending first. Then add to your Top 6. If you can get a veteran RHD at a reasonable price, great. If not, I can absolutely live with the 6 they have now and seeing where it takes them.

He was one of our best looking players in preseason, everyone had high expectations and he gets a sports hernia first game... Its tough, the kid worked his ass off last offseason. I assume he does the same this offseason.
