What position did you think Von Miller would play for the Bills? Defensive End right? I just looked at the depth chart on ESPN to see who they had in the coffer at corner thinking I forgot about someone, but no, Tre’s not ready and Jackson goes down they’re in big trouble there. But back to Von Miller, they show him as Sam LB. What the? I heard someone talking about Lorenzo Alexander type role for him. Wow, I guess so.

That’s not my point and I don’t think it’s true. Levi Wallace was serviceable. If Tre White isn’t good you don’t have a CB1 either. If you want to talk about a position that doesn’t require ANY INVESTMENT in a McDermott defense it’s safety. My god Kurt Coleman was an All Pro that lead the league in picks. Hamlin looked all right and so did Josh Thomas in pre season. Even if there’s trouble with Poyer they can survive there. That caller’s whole premise was to get a leg up on the competition and he was so right. Reported Giants are taking calls to move back. Maybe that’s not earth shattering but I hope it’s Beane.

Taron has been more of a slot guy not an outside guy. Tre could or couldn't be ready, could have a set back as well. I'd prefer we planned accordingly and not be stuck.

The pick Hyde had in Pats playoff game was out of this world. Like one of the best picks I’ve ever seen. Looked like a perfect TD pass to Agholar. Can’t believe he tracked it down. Safeties have always been able to make plays in McD’s defense. I bet the same would be true with Hamlin and Thomas.

I have no idea. Average recovery time is 10.7 months, he could be good September or he could be good in November. I've heard he's doing well but nothing about being ready at start of season. Not to mention being back doesn't equate to being 100% either.
