So, you would trade Thompson, Tuch or Krebs for a 33 year old Patrick Kane?

No, no, yes.

Sorry, 72 and 89 are untouchable

Looks like the Bill's made a solid pick going C to fill a big need.
Now, what is their biggest positional need? WR? RB?, future S? LB?

Where would you target?

- IonSabres

Any one of them, this is where I wouldn't mind a trade back, see if you can grab a extra 3rd. Probably take care of 3 out of 4 today.

They HAVE to get Breece Hall today, by any means necessary.

What would you offer Jacksonville for the 33rd pick, so that you could select Hall?

He's a year out from being a FA if he wants to play in Buffalo he'll come. Wouldn't part with Krebs and a 1st+ for a possible rental, we aren't the kind of team to be making those moves yet.

Trade up again. Trade a 2nd a 5th and a 6th.

This draft was not deep nor generally believed to be that good.

Hell trade a 2nd and a 3rd to trade up to draft Hall so i can watch RichardRoma have a full on meltdown.

Thank you. This team is NOT one player away from winning the Cup next season.

Could, but there's some good players left. Still wouldn't mind seeing a S and LB added. But Hall would make a impact.

I would have no problem with Hall in the 2nd.

Also, no running backs were taken in the first round. That's saying something.

If I were GM and owner, yes, I could use our resources to make a cup roster next season. They don't seem to be interested in that.
- lacaprup

It doesn't have to just be about making a cup roster next season. It can be about enhancing the team's chances both short and long term.

That would mean making a long term decision on players like Mittelstadt and Krebs this offseason.

No one thinks we are. Ending the 11 season playoff drought is a must, and I would trade Krebs in a heartbeat for 90 point Patty Kane.

When I talked about building a cup winner, I said I could do it if allowed to use all team resources. Bringing in Kane would be one of at least 4 additions needed to make a cup winner.

This team could build a cup capable team next year by adding two big fish forwards, one top 4 d, and a playoff caliber goalie. That's all available out there this offseason, and if we were willing to spend to the cap it could be done.

I have zero belief KA will attempt anything like that, but I would still trade Krebs and a 1st for Kane and enjoy my playoff series next year. Krebs is still a long way away from being an impact player.

Um, yes. It says that this QB class is not very good, Schopp.

How do you know Kane would have 90 points, if he was on the team next season?

Gonna be interesting to see what Adams does with those 2, and of course Olofsson. 2 out 3 are decent chips if you want. Mitts is a mystery, very talented but really never get to see enough

Even a 70-point Patrick Kane makes a world of difference on this forward group. Not saying I would trade a 1st and Krebs for him at 33 years old, but getting another 60-70+ point forward is a must. Ideally, figure out a way to get 2.

The only way that we should even consider a trade for Kane is if he is extended. I see the two firsts that aren't ours and someone like Krebs. I'd consider it.

Didn't take long to show of the confidence, might regret it. And that Necklace and Bottle he was wearing was ridiculous.

Or, you could wait until he hits free agency, and sign him without having to give up picks and prospects.

In today's world of content and branding, saying something like that makes him money, even if he doesn't play a down in the NFL.
