Without doing any research on it, I'll boldly say there are very few teams on which Brock isn't at least the 6th best offensive player. - micah555
You're right, but part of getting a goal is not giving another one up. As you mentioned earlier he's been making more plays defensively. However, he does have certain physical limitations that can affect him defensively. I think he slots in on any team's pp2. |

At all or just in the 2nd round?
Kenny Pickett wondering if you forgot about him? |

There was a reason why Denver traded for Wilson. |

Obviously his skating isn't amazing, but if he can fight for a puck, position himself well and make smart plays while scoring 20+ goals, he's an asset. Honestly, Gretzky wasn't an 'alpha'. Hockey isn't limited strictly to being a beast. Lindros was an prototypical 'alpha' and he wasn't poop. |

This organization has had a long history of players who aren't or weren't known as players who weren't very physical, such as Tanti, Gradin, Skriko, Sedin's, Sundstrom, etc.
None of them are or were nearly as shy of contact as Brock Boeser is. |

I think he positions himself well most of the time, especially offensively. I don't really think he fights much for the puck. I've been saying he's an asset as long as he's not overpaid. In a salary cap world unfortunately it's the difference between success and failure. |

I’m a Steelers fan too, we’ve done well. I think the Jets have had the best Draft though, looks like they finally have decent management. The O line is still a problem. |

I like the ring to Pickett to Pickers. |

Bechton is massive.
Another year and the Pats are the worst in the division IMO. Buffalo loses in the AFC title game to Cleveland. NFC is unclear. |

In this game now, he had an excellent opportunity to drive the puck to the net, as he had a step on the defenseman. He does this type of stuff regularly, every season.
Must be because of his incredibly high hockey IQ, that he refuses to go to the hard areas.
If anyone is interested in watching this, it is between the 15-10 minute remaining in the 3rd. |

He has his flaws, without doubt. I said 4 million..... |

Rather not have to watch him play at all. After watching him for 5+ seasons, I have had enough , was hoping he would get a bit more speed and some hockey smarts, doesn't appear that will ever happen. |

I’m not going to lie, really wanted a o-line. Hard to deny the value of each pick though, all needs as well. |

I’m not convinced Watson plays next year. |

More than satisfied having spencer Martin as the backup next season. |

I'd rather hold onto him and have someone else play harder minutes. It is what it is. |

Yes, the cap does present an obstacle. I see him as a $6m player, plus or minus. If we can't get him for that, we have to get an asset for him or that will be it's own obstacle to success. |

Salary vs term. Maybe a 4 year deal is in order. $6M is quite a bit in my estimation but it might be good value in the last 2 years. |
