Long term retirement goals. Or six months there six months here in AZ. I was wrong, it’s only 180K in an investment account for permanent residency. That’s nothing.

“Permanent Residency: Monthly income of c.US$4,300-$4500 over the last 6 months (some consulates request 12 months); or savings balance of c.US$180,000 over the last 12 months.”

Did you enjoy your subsidized hockey, your subsidized education and whatever else you leeched off of this great country, or do you just gloat about not putting anything back into the system that you enjoyed?

It's worth noting that Jaroslav Halak didn't hit his $250K bonus for a .905 save %. He finishes with .902. #Canucks

Also worth noting Podkolzin was third on the team in +/- at one point, but slipped to 4th (amongst forwards) robbing him of a $212,500 bonus but also savings the #Canucks of that same amount in overages next season

Islanders got a good one here!
“Noah Dobson didn't get enough appreciation for the season he had, 51 pts in 80 games as a 22-yr old, he's just getting started.” |

So why is it so important to brag about wealth to random internet people?
Honest question.

I have no idea what you’re talking about? Who was bragging about wealth? I stated you need “X” amount of money to acquire permanent residency in Mexico. How does that equate to bragging about wealth
Most blue collar people in BC can sell their property and qualify as I way overstated the actual requirement. |

I wanted him over Hughes, wasn't happy. My buddy who's an Islanders fan thought I was crazy.......no longer. |

I haven’t watched him enough to see what his game looks like. Seems like a pretty good pick though. Happy with Hughes and the offence as well as puck transition he brings. |

He'll never bring as much offence as Hughes, not organically.
Much better without the puck though IMO. |

I've changed my thoughts a bit:
- Keep miller to start the season (see if we can keep it going)
- Sign Boeser to an under QO deal (if not, trade)
- Keep Garlund
For cap help:
- poolman, Richardenson, pearson, myers - if we can trade them. Pearson we could.
For help on D:
- see what hoggy can get you, he's cheap for another year and good secondary scoring for a good team. Someone who has extra D? Get a young solid D-man with a bit of potencial.
Inject that and maybe Rathbone.
Hope that PODZ improves,EP is back for good (he was great at the end of season, forgot how good he could be)
If they suck out of the gate....blow it up....
Trade Miller, maybe Horvat - get at least good 1 young C back and try again.

Not sure why people think trading disappointing players and bloated cap hits is all that is needed to turn the Canucks into an all star contender. Poolman, Penisson, Pearson & Myers would cost to move. They are fringe players on any decent team.
