You're right on on-way vs two. Team has been cheap on the Roch side, post-JB. I don't expect that to change, so I don't see them paying 2 AHL goalies big AHL $.

Could a cap-strapped team with a clear #1 be interested in Tokarski as a backup? Maybe. Very likely someone offers him a one-way deal as a #3, not sure KA will.

Haven't given a UPL bridge any thought yet. Tage got a 3yrs @ 1.4. 2 years @ 1.2? Maybe a little less.

I left Buffalo about 10 years ago. Still consider it my hometown but I’ve lived in the south. Chose to remain down here as the housing prices and COL are lower and work pays so much better. Miss it everyday but it has been the best financial decision. If I had stayed things would’ve been fine but cannot fathom going back now just on a cost based analysis. One can actually get ahead in life once outside the NY taxes.
