The issue with him is at the time most were saying this, he was. Now, after seeing it play out a bit, it's certainly possible that he was either: still acclimating to the NA game, and the NHL speed or that playing with someone who liked to carry the puck as much as Eichel didn't play to his strengths much 5v5, or a combo of the two. He's made a lot of us think higher than of him in the last 12 months then the first 24 months he was here, but make no mistake that he didn't grow into it and wasn't a 1 trick pony PP specialist before. That said, if you are going to have 1 trick, his is a good one to have. Just didn't want to overpay at the time, and it's a little easier to swallow and change the tune now that he's put in the work and rounded his game (with the defensive help of Selke Asplund)

Just my opinion of course.

the amount of homes being scooped up by large out of state companies is unreal

add the massive rent hike the last 2 years for the renters

there will be a big gap between the haves and have nots if housing market does not burst within the next 18 months

he was a 1 trick pony with eichel but has become a more complete player this year, esp the last few months

the d was odd, maybe ralph coaching from olofsson before as he was joined at the hip with asplund in all phases of the game in rochester

I really think Donnie was working with him during the whole wrist injury working on his vision and passing, positioning, learning when and where his tm8's are. His playmaking really took off while he couldn't shoot and after the injury he really put a complete offensive game together.

It won't in that there wasn't a fundamental problem with the mortgage industry.

It's a weird time... so 3 years ago I bought a beachfront condo in Clearwater beach, florida. It's a very expensive area and I bought it strictly for rental income (side note: if you're looking for a vaca on the beach I am your guy). Not 3 years later it has doubled in value. Will it burst? I don't know. What I do know is that I am looking to buy another and you can barely even find them on the market as they don't last long.

Housing in Rochester, Pittsburgh and Chicago has gone down significantly. If you can commute to work, go buy your home now.

It’s not all horrible. Just have to make sacrifices and hard decisions. Is having a friends and family you never see but close by your comfort pillow? Or can you deal with not just using them as a crutch?
