It makes sense, but the rule states otherwise. Always possible they tweaked it at some point, especially with an expansion team added. - Lunaion
at the end of the day, doesn't matter if we draft the next Kyle Capobianco (pick 63 in 15 draft) or the next Andrew Nielsen (pick 65 in 15 draft), but rather another highly touted prospect refuses to be part of hockey heaven
leave it to Harrington to be a complete jackwad and take shots at the Sabres. - ImThatGuy
based on the presser
no long term starter goalie on radar, just a bridge guy
no top 4 RD needed to play with power, just a d man
johnson may or may not sign in a year
let anderson take time off to figure out if he wants to come back or not
keep all 3 first round picks and build the pipeline
it was more of a reflection presser instead of full steam ahead for 22-23 season and assuming we are going to lose a decent goalie prospect and d prospect in the next 12 months, I think they really need to go full steam ahead and gain a decent reputation outside of the locker room
Dreger on TSN690 says the only reason Shea Weber's contract wasn't moved to Arizona at the deadline was because there were papers that needed to be signed and money to be paid out, he expects his contract to be moved this offseason when they have more time to handle everything.
