panthers went 2-1 vs the caps in regular season

all three games were 1 goal games including an ot win for panthers

last night was another 1 goal game, unless you need empty net goal stats to try to win an argument


I am going to sit back and enjoy this long series where the 2 teams literally play the entire 60 minutes to decide a winner

In a vacuum, no. To get him from the Islanders as cash only, I think they match that. To get him from the Islanders, to pay him 10M for one year, extend him to 7x8 years, and to pay 4 first round picks would be a wanton misuse of assets.

If you think the Sabres are a borderline lottery team at least for next season, is that worth it? For Dobson? Do the Islanders think so? I think the value is bad for both teams.
