He definitely has the potential. I think you should read up on that word.

Adams did say though if the right deal came along he would consider it though, I’m not sure why there has been such a commotion about the last few days in these threads.

Rochester is bones dry, all of our recent top picks will be on the big club, or in Europe, I don’t see an issue at all in stock piling our prospect cupboards.

- Pegullaville

The commotion has been about the inference that Adams is going to do very little this offseason and seems ok with bringing Anderson back and having him pair with UPL for the season.

Not sure how you could say he doesn't have the potential... The guy is 6'3... Sky is the limit for a player like that.

Usually agree with you but your off the rails old man

That's not the question I'm asking nor am I making any assumptions. I feel a bit differently than you guys, and so be it.

I'm simply asking, if adding those specific pieces isn't good enough, what is "good enough"?

- TheSabresTaco

This is a very good post, I'm curious what the gmtm posters really want.

Before KA, gets fired for "not winning "

Starting goalie
4/5 rd vet
Maybe a crash and bang top 9?

I just really can't see any new forwards IMO

I get it, he does have the size and with his skating, that's an enticing package. I just don't see the top pairing tag. Maybe I just watched some bad games.

You can't possibly give up major assets to get him in the hopes that he wants to stick around.
- Slump Buster

"No extention , less assets"

That kinda covered the major " 4 pieces" part someone suggested.

Maybe we move our 1st 2023 protected and a bryson/ Fitzgerald at the deadline for pk88.

2 players/ picks not 4 at the tdl

I'm not lacrapruns 😀😀😀

I like krebs, these guys are way too young to rule them out at 21 years old. Same for mitts, let's see what we have.

Acquiring pk88 would be a lot of fun as a sth.

Kane has a full NMC.

If he waives to come to Buffalo it’s coming with a contract extension.

You make that trade this off season or wait to sign him next off season for no assets.

If Kane is being moved it’s because he wants to be and is hand picking where he is going.

The Hawks aren’t getting 4 pieces for him, but they’re also not getting a 3rd and Bjork for him like the Sabres got for Hall.

A trade for Kane no matter where he goes looks like a top 10 protected 1st, a decent prospect (Rousek) and a 3rd round pick.

Chicago isn’t going to get an Eichel like return for him. He has one year left, has a full NMC and is 33 years old.

Interesting post ref

If pk88 decides to waive at the deadline, wouldn't a good buffalo (playoff bound) team be a prime destination for any soon to be UFA?

Not just pk88 , but any high priced pending ufa would give buffalo a go IMO.
Especially a buffalo guy.

Is your concern the extention?
I would agree, if pk88 gets moved prior to the season , yes.

At the deadline, I think it's a very good fit.

The ticket sales would off set peterka or a 1st protected , bryson or/rousek and a 2nd or 3rd.

3 pieces, 1 actual prime pick/ top prospect and some extras

The upcoming TV schedule for the Playoffs is interesting.

Double Headers on both TNT and TBS both tomorrow and Friday, similar to what ESPN and ESPN2 have been doing the past 3 nights.

Afternoon game on ESPN, and a triple-header on TNT on Saturday. ABC has an NBA double-header.

Afternoon game on ESPN and a triple-header on TBS on Sunday. The NBA has one game on ESPN and a night game on TNT.

This is a welcome change as the ESPN crews are horrible. Each of the teams is tied for last. The play by play by Buccigross was over the top and then some told him to talk the announcers job. Each of the female color commentators are beyond salvageable. Air fillers. Do not get me started on Ferraro who believes that the NHL is monitoring every word out of his mouth for criticism therefore, nothing of value is said.

I don't mind Ray Ferraro, never have. It would appear that he and Sean McDonaugh are going to be calling the Stanley Cup Finals with Emily Kaplan this year.

Buccigross and Steve Levy need to trade spots.

I don't want to get into the debate about female commentators. There are some that really know their stuff (Emily Kaplan, Cassie Campbell), but it's also pretty clear that some of them are just to fill the Disney "diversity" mandate.
