don't blame me because you decide to live with your in laws instead of working more
I have no debt
I act responsible with money
I pay cash for any new cars
I am not loaded with money, I just act like a grown up with money - homiedclown
Working more ? My spouse and I have combined household income that is fairly above the average Canadian household income. Housing is nearly 10x the average income,m.
This has nothing to do with working more, and everything to do with a society that has been speculating on assets due to low interest rates and taking on the most household debt in the history of mankind.
How many people are actually end users of the units and not just buying them for the sake of speculation ?
If you really think this is about working more, then you are completely unaware of what’s going on in society right now.
I’m sure the food shortage that’s on its way we’ll be manageable by working more too ? |

Decades of political negligence.
I’m sure there aren’t people in their 20’s in Florida that aren’t struggle with “transitory inflation” and the largest housing bubble ever ?
Common now. - Pegullaville
grown ups do not drive $50,000 trucks when they make $40,000 a year
grown ups do not put their morning coffee on credit card at the local gas and go
grown ups do not buy $400,000 houses for a starter home when they make a combined 70 grand a year
grown ups have to make minor sacrifices to get by during these harder times while it's killing the couples with 2 car payments, child support, super high mortgage with second mortgage and 6 credit cards close to being maxed out
downsize the house
move a few more miles away from the city
downsize the cars
cut up the credit cards
stop eating out
live on what you make
pretty simple rule that most of society refuses to follow, and those people are not just limited to 20 year olds, or 30 year olds, its everyone

I think they need to figure out who to keep up front and who to trade out
I am not a fan of Manson as I do not think he will hold up for that spot
Petry would probably be cheap in a trade if he is willing to waive
Klingberg would break the bank long term
I think best option, throw a ton at letang on 2 year deal if he tests the water
or try to trade for a Cernak type player |

If you can pay your full credit card balance every month, which is rare, putting every purchase on a card that rewards users with points, miles, or cash back makes sense over using cash 💸 |

There are no starter homes worth $400,000 with all due respect. You can spend $550,000 and live in a one room shoebox but I’d rather live with my in-laws and wait for a buyers market.
The Federal Reserve is both arsonist and fire fighter, and the only thing we have gained from going off the Gold Standard is widening wealth gap between the poor and the rich.
The only way to curb the inflation created by central bankers, is to put us into a recession
Either way the average Canadian/American loses.
Housing bubble will finally pop, but the stock market will tank and unemployment will rise. By that time, how many average income earners will be able to afford to buy the dip if they are unemployed ?
The world is a messed up place right now, and a lot of the decisions that are made are by high up government officials that are over the age of 60, with a fair chunk in their 70’s and 80’s

My wife pays hers every two weeks as well, instead of monthly.
Why not pay it monthly when it's due? |

I use 2 week blocks to determine profit during that time
if the past 2 weeks really profitable, bump up my inventory
if the past 2 weeks were on the slower side, downsize the orders for the next 2 weeks

it will become the haves and have nots
I see it all the time, companies in texas buying florida houses up for sale to rent them out and play the long game
those who act responsible have a chance, those that do not will forever be the slave to the lender

My only issue is your housing market point. Eventually a decent size home here in Buffalo will be about 400K

I liked Bryson the last month or so. He did have some blunders early on
I’m okay with the d core. But I’m also taking into consideration that Bryson and fitz were rookies.
I agree fitz is your 7th d. Bryson can stay in the top 6.
This is an out there comment but getting letang and malkin. Throw stupid money at them for 2 years
I doubt they come. But worth a shot. |

The ironic part of the whole thing is the boomer/Gen X generation had enjoyed the easiest of living circumstances yet this will be the first time in the history of human kind where the following generation of people will have a lower standard of living and quality of life as the one previous to it.
A lot of finger pointing to the millennial and Gen Z’s but last time I checked we didn’t raise ourselves.
Yeah, I’d love to have had 4 kids by 25, my wife not work, and housing be 1-2x the average income per capita like back in the day. Talk about a participation medal 😂
Nah, millennials got saddled with tons of student debt to try and obtain jobs that are in few supply, and now get to deal with asset hyperinflation because of the 50-70 year olds in charge with fiscal policies apparently skipped their freshman year macroeconomic classes.
Now we get to entrust the same brain trust that created hyperinflation with ensuring we have a “soft landing”. Negative GDP in Q1 and they plan to hike interest rates in May and June. Bold strategy cotton, we’ll see how it pays off.
We will see the worst financial crash since The Great Depression though thanks to death by paper cuts since going off the Gold Standard in the Early 70’s. We may be already in it, unless the Fed reverses course and kicks the can down the road. Either way, it’s inevitable.
So don’t give me this 12th place ribbon crap when your generation is about to Frank the next 6 generations that come after it due to your bull crap - Pegullaville
S&P has the worst start to a year since the stock market crash and Great Depression. No mean tweets though!! |

the biggest issue, and nobody want to talk about it
the world is getting lazy
uber eats
door dash
pay someone to cut your yard
pay someone to clean your house
pay someone to do your taxes if you do not have a business
etc
etc
etc
how many 20 somethings need that $1500 phone every year, $60,000 truck and $300 a month cable bills?
throw something in a crock pot before you go to work
cut your own dam yard
scrub your own toilet
buy your own groceries at the store
$150 phones work great and you are not entitled to a big truck, showtime and every ppv ufc fight |

I'd think Tage and maybe Tuch for USA.

you have options
I am sure you and your wife could make a good living in thunder bay and afford a house
life is about choices, and you only have 1 life
I have great friends in NY and family
the job market in WNY was pretty bad as well as high property taxes in the early 90's so I moved
I still see my friends and family in NY 1 or 2 times a year, made new friends down here, etc, etc etc |
