You can have grit and still have talent. Flyers dont have grit at all which is why the list mentioned is not desirable. Tampa was swept in the 1st round of the playoffs by columbus, you know how they responded? They added Grit.

They went out and added guys like Blake Coleman, Bogosian, Schenn and Pat Maroon and won the cup the next 2 years straight.

Obviously the Flyers dont have the talent up front Tampa has but you cant ignore the importance of having a combination of Grit and skill in the lineup.

I dont get the hate for Macewen. Yes he isnt the most skilled guy and the Flyers can do better and should but the guy skates, hard and hustles in the few minutes he plays. It isnt like having Lehtera and Weise on our 4th line from 2017-2019. There is no sense complaining about the 4th line while the top 12 is in shambles

What Tampa did was go out and acquire Coleman, Goodrow, Maroon, and Bogo. Those are all solid NHL level players who contribute. They didn't add the Nat's , Brown's and Zacs of the world. Clearly even you can the difference no?

You want to add that element great then go get players who can ply and contribute. Like those above and isle 4th line along with numerous others.

Zac is an AHl level player. He adds no value overall. He contributes nothing to a winning team. Look at al 16 playoff teams. Which one is he in the lineup for?

Flyers 4th line has been putrid for years. When it shouldn't be. So yes i is worth mentioning when talking about the team.

Kemell or Jiricek is my pick in the draft.

One is a sniper the other a puck moving RD, either way it would fill a need.

Nemec seems like the safe pick for a defenseman but Jiricek seems more like the guy we missed out from colorado.

Kemell is a shooter, get him and we have a couple young shooters in the fold(forester).

It was a standard exit day interview. Only difference was how quiet this injury had been kept all season, which was admittedly concerning. As for the rehab plan's prognosis for next season, I'll believe he can stay healthy when he shows it.

Kemell is a bit of reach where we’re likely to draft. I would rather pay the price to move up for Slafkovsky than reach on Kemell. One of the draft podcasts I was listening to everyone was disappointed with Kemell’s play this 2nd half of the season and basically said having him go top 5 in their mock draft was a mistake. Take from that what you will.

I am still quite worried that we end up moving this pick for immediate help because they don’t want to wait on anyone to develop.
