Why didn't you put it in the season prediction thread then? - manvanfan
This is the first playoff blog, it seemed more appropriate here. |

You can always throw it in Bloated's HB Stinktank thread. It refuses to die. |

That thread is like the illegitimate love child of Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees.
Wait, did they make a movie about that? Alien vs Predator style? |

If you have to keep one, and trade one, and let’s say they make exactly the same salary.
Boeser OR Garland
Who you got? |

Hmm.
Good question.
They're the same age essentially.
And if they had the same contract, i'd probably keep Boeser and Hoglander (shrimp).
Boeser scores more goals, bottom line.
Garland is grittier and more of a leader I suppose.
I'd trade em both if i had my way.

What a donkey take - neem55
Which part? The part where there are at least three games per night of intense win or go home hockey, or the part where it’s great to share this experience with your spouse?
You couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn with a hockey take. |

I think that Boeser isn’t as slow, or as soft as this fan base makes him out to be. Plus he has great hair. Garland can grow an epic beard, searingly on demand, but that doesn’t make him grittier.

I do like lots of games but I’ll take a conference final over a round 1 matchup most any time. More on the line, better teams and the whistle is gone. To each their own I suppose. Looking forward to a couple of these matchups but definetly not all of them. |

In this scenario, no. But yes, in real life it’s definitely an option. |

OK, gentlemen, sharpen your #2 pencils - the Official Hockeybuzz NHL 2022 Playoffs Prediction Thread is live:
https://www.hockeybuzz.co...post_id=22264783#22264783
Please note: unlike my other prediction threads, this is NOT Leaf-focused. So fans of all 32 teams are welcome to participate.
There is no prize. There isn't even an evaluation mechanism.
This is strictly a way for you to make your hockey geniusness known to the Hockeybuzz community, so you can tell us all "I told you so" when Nashville wins the Stanley Cup.
The rules are simple: cut and paste the template, and fill it out.
The thread will be locked at 7 pm tonight, and for the rest of the playoffs, you can trash talk anyone who made dumb predictions.
Hope to see you there. |

Toronto is favoured in the series based on the betting line as of yesterday:
Toronto: -120
Tampa Bay: +100
You could double your money if betting on Tampa to win. that’s a good bet. - bloatedmosquito
TOR is only favoured because of the sheer volume of Leafs fans placing bets. It is a good time to bet on Tampa though |

Something that people need to understand:
The odds do not reflect who the oddsmakers think will win.
