I was actually being sincere about it, or were you referring to the Winnipeg cold? - Reubenkincade
It was meant both ways, poor Brock spills some tears, and the news is they are trying to work out a deal, but also Winnipeg....one the nastiest cities in Canada, up there with Red Deer bro.

You know they are doomed if you are cheering for them.
Also, hearing Travis Green is the front-runner for Head Coach in Philadelphia |

With Boeser's dads health issues, would the honorable thing be to trade him closer to home. Maybe Winnipeg? - Reubenkincade
No Thanks to PLD. Remember that's who Benning really wanted not OJ.
It would probably be closer and faster to travel from US city to another.
Chicago would be the next closets.
Kubalik + for Boeser? |

Man you’re thick sometimes. I was making a joke about drawing conclusions (prematurely) from one game. - 1970vintage
Yeah I got that. It was a bad joke. I made it funny. You're welcome. |

Hell's yeah. I was looking into trading one of the Canucks prospects this morning but Abbotsford have their first game tonight vs Bakersfield, so I thought I'd wait to see how the playoffs go. |

I'm really looking forward to PA & JR fixing the roster.
I think there will be a couple of surprises.

It's hard to say. I could see it going either way depending on what is offered in trades.
Canucks really need more out of their bottom 6.
Without trading someone though, they don't really have enough cap space to add.
Poolman, Dermott, Richardinson you would have to get rid of. All NHL players although barely, may not have any actual return.
Like Markus Nutivaara for Ciff Pu trade. |

Honestly, I'd take late round picks for Poolman, D!ckinson and send Dermott to Abbotsford as his cap hit would be buried in Abby and then he's an FA at the end of next season. The cap space alone would be worth it and if you could get rid of Myers, Pearson and hopefully even OEL for anything at all, you'd be sitting pretty going forwards cap-wise. This team just isn't going to get any better until our cap situation is under control and that's going to probably take a few years at least until some of our more expensive players get traded or their contracts expire. |

I would be surprised if teams give up a 5th or later pick for Poolman and Richardy.
This team is absolutely nothing without Myers and OEL. You'd be sitting pretty at the very bottom of the table, for many years.
It would make sense to literally trade everyone then. Miller, Horvat, Boeser, Garland, Hughes, Pettersson and Demko will all want out
You would have all the cap space in the world. Possibly Bedard as well. |

One of them has to go based on cap hits alone. |

In the future. Isn't a real big huge need this season. Canucks have cap space. Not really enough to really upgrade in positions of need though. Getting rid of either Poolman or Richardy would give them enough to get a pretty decent 3lc |

It is definitely a mess. I don't expect it to all be fixed this off-season. |

The Miller trade will be the big summer shake-up. The rest of the unravelling will probably happen over the course of the next season and into the following summer. |

Does open up a forward spot for that soft Russian that teams are bidding on. |

Back up and Side bets bud...
In my main pool I have a COL-TBAY final and MIN-NYR as a backup.
Went into a bracket challenge and took TO just in case...one never knows dude. Gotta cover the bets. Just had a feeling about TO. The Pool picks were at seasons start. The bracket I just did recently. |
