Thanks haha

Actually he played very well, I readily admit that, he just can’t score. He had so many chances tonight and yes he got robbed, but I fully expected that to get waived off. It’s the way it goes for the Rangers

im more concerned with the lack of defensive awareness with our top players. Zib in no mans land on the 1st goal and lindgren got smoked on a 2 on 2. neither of those goals should have happened.

Zibanejad has been great on that side this year. Hopefully just mistakes that they minimize going forward.

Possession is going to matter a lot when the power plays are scarce. They can't bleed shots and faceoffs like that.

The whole team had nerves once that 2-1 goal happen. The game changed right there and never really went back to how it was before that.

Learn from it. They can win a game in pitt

I think they need to get used to the playoffs a bit. Those kind of fancy plays are much harder to convert.
- Slimtj100

I agree, because they're just NOT going to get a lot of power play opportunities. They didn't draw many during the year and we all know the refs don't call things on Pitt.

I’ve screamed to high heaven about faceoffs and this is why. They are so much more magnified now in the playoffs. You really don’t really think about it until now lol

This should have NEVER gone to OT , total BS call disallowing Chytil goal. Game should have been 4-3 and Rangers would have been on power play with under 4 mins to go.

Consider this:
despite playing at home ( and playing well ) the Rangers only drew ONE penalty in what amounted to almost 2 full games tonite!

Very borderline interference call. So glad the NHL made the same call for Lundqvist in 2014. Dumoulin made contact. But the view was part to net would have gone through DeSmith but that’s a presumptive call. Dumoulin clearly impacted path of Kakko

Biggest issue with the call is it’s 50/50. Call on ice should stand as nothing was conclusive to overturn it

Wow Panarin only had 2 shots on goal in over 30 mins of ice time. That just can’t happen

Friend of mine at game said it was very noticeable that either he was unwilling or unable to shoot. Concern has to be that the upper body injury he suffered the final week of the season is impacting his ability to shoot.

He had nothing behind that one timer he had in the 3rd OT, could be something or maybe just fatigue

Speaking of having your poop pushed in, Your Team owned in the first and this Game was over. May I suggest Dr. Ho's Saddle creme to relieve the swelling.

Very tough loss but the reality is the game should have been over in the third period! Kakko was pushed into de smith NO DOUBT! But it is what it is. MUST win game two! The pens are an older team and we have to jump on them right away. The only problem is Pitt will be starting their 3rd string goalie and we all know how that works! reaves should stay in he played well and was punishing the penguins all night.
