I just got a wisdom tooth removed yesterday. Nice to see you around. - Load Management
Sounds fun and thanks.
I'm often too busy these days to spend much time here. However this is day 3 at home and I spent 1 full day sleeping, 1 day doing work for the union in my home office and today is yard work.
I still don't have enough energy to spend a full day doing it. |

Some Gorilla Butter might help with the pain. Golfing could use some Animal Face to help him with yard work. |

Mostly weeding so the kids are helping.
A couple more fruit trees to plant tomorrow. Apricot and a 2nd peach variety. |

I'm not gonna talk in circles with you. I'll give an example then move on.
When Dermott got here we played a game against the Coyotes. He was still getting used to things system and player wise. While defending a lane, which he does very well, he causes a turn over in the defensive zone at the top of the circles. The puck was on his stick and bam, he transitions up the center of the ice past his blue line. Looks for an outlet on either side, none. Skates into the trap turns it over and they turn it back and score.
I thought, wow, that's how much faster the wingers are on the Leafs. He was on offense and our guys are still figuring it out. He had zero puck support, nobody backing him and no outlets. That's what zone exits are about. - Load Management
Why exactly do I need an "example" of a zone exit? I know what zone exits are. I know what you were trying to imply. I was well past that. Before this conversation started I was well past what you just told me.
You are talking about playing as a 5 man unit. Unfortunately all you did was tell me that Dermott has a low hockey IQ. I already knew that btw. |

You might know what they are, but you quite clearly don't fully understand them. This isn't gonna be a lead a Camel to water day for me. Maybe take a hockey IQ test along side Dermott and see who scores higher...then we'll talk. |

Yet any scouting report says the opposite.
Just watching him play he's usually in the right position which also says the opposite.
You're having a real good day! |

I have found memories of my Dad tossing weeds in my face when I was helping.
Our dog enjoys 'helping' when my wife & I are weeding.
Fruit trees are too much of a bear attractant, here. Our old neighbours wood fence was torn down every fall to get to the pear tree. I'd watch from the window as one swipe of a paw would effortlessly destroy a section of the picket fence. They started enforcing the posts with concrete.
We have a few Japanese maples and a couple of dogwoods and birch trees. |

I fully understand a zone exit. The fact that you are still hanging your hat on that just shows how far behind you are from where I am. |

Yes, this is exactly why Toronto traded him because he's amazing.
Don't forget all the healthy scratches also. Because he's amazing. |

It's the same size as our arena in Penticton, seats about 5000.

Yeah weeding isn't fun.
I'm in the city so bears aren't as much of an issue as homeless people. There are enough wild apple trees out there for the animals to get to. |

Big gap between amazing and low hockey IQ.
Weren't you going on about having a pre-conditioned response earlier?
Wasn't Naslund a healthy scratch and then traded from the Pens?
You make this so easy. |

There's an old orchard on the edge of the village where we go and watch the bears sitting in the trees chomping away on apples. |
