Listen, I know it's a rough morning and all but my bracket can't be busted by New York in the first round. Let's pick it up, okay?
Joking aside, OT is just, anything happens. Rangers have a good shot at the series still! |

Just hurry up and lose. The sooner the Rangers and Leafs are eliminated, the sooner I can relax and enjoy some playoff hockey. |

LOL, well played
From my perspective, I thought it was the right call to disallow. Kakko was shoved, but he still could have avoided the goalie. Having said that, if this happened to my team, I’d be livid
Still think the Rags win this series

Not a Rangers fan.
The hit by Lingren shouldn't have been a penalty at all IMO.
Kakko driving the net wasn't goaltender interference as his defender pushed him into the goalie (IMO). - Pixote Andolini

Pittsburgh announcer thought it should count

Yeah that was a good goal. Kakko clearly pulls up and slams on the brakes once he gets into the blue paint. Dumoulin on his back and pushing him from behind is what really knocks the goalie out of the crease. To me that's a hockey play and the end result of the puck getting put into the net is kosher. |

My work friends feel the same. And I can say I felt relieved when the Isles got ousted last year.
It’s natural and healthy to feel this way |

Yeah it makes it a lot more enjoyable.
I'm pretty much fine with just about anyone winning the Cup but the two teams I mentioned. I am all aboard the Colorado express this year though, regardless. I'd prefer nobody from the Metro wins it, however. |

I actually had more issue with the Trouba penalty (because they were already short handed) than I did the no goal. It was a weak penalty call, especially in the playoffs and especially down a man already. That ultimately cost them the game imo because they had all the momentum after the Kreider shorty

Just jealous really. The Pens drafted 3 generational once-in-a-lifetime players (full-on tanking twice for 2 of them) in my lifetime whereas the Flyers had to buy one - who's shortened career was the result of a) not picking up his head enough, and b) playing during the clutch-and-grab era. |

I'm still amazed that a game that went 6 periods, Pittsburgh only committed one foul! Boy are they disciplined!!! |

Well that happened! I hope the Rangers learned a little something last night. Dont blow all your energy in the first 20min of game 2! Save something for later in the contest. It clearly drained almost all of them. However, the kid line, just awesome to see and when Schinder, K'Andre, Kaako, Lafreneire,& Chytil are all on the ice, no one is over 22yrs on age! We have a very good looking future.
Its just one game but, theres no way Cindy, Gena & Christina can hold up after that contest and all the hitting. Look for NYR to rebound in a big way! Rangers in 6. |

I could swear that in years past MSG always got voted as having some of the worst ice in the league, but it's possible I'm wrong. - eichiefs9

I very much disagree, but I am not getting into this one because it's their thread and I wouldn't want a whole bunch of other fans driving me nuts all day rehashing it |

We’ve been burned multiple times the last few post seasons (coincidentally against pitts) with our players getting shoved into tenders. I just don’t see that as interference imo. I’ll also add that defenders, I believe, intentionally shove players into them to get the call. Of course it’s a combination of defending with a little dose of what I’m saying. Not saying that defending isn’t part of it… |
