I love how Rangers fans act like the NHL has it out for them... they are one of the biggest markets in the league. The league couldnt be more excited to see the Rangers as a Stanley Cup contender.

I’m sorry I have no skin in the pens vs rangers but you have to admit Rangers got away with zero close penalties while pens were punching guys in the face and tripping/interfering with guys left and right and had 1 penalty. Then the 50/50 interference call goes the way of the pens. If that’s not favoritism then what is? The league has always wanted the pens to succeed. Rangers have always been the red headed step child. - Dan13zoo
Yeah they really have it out for a team that was gifted back to back lotto wins. |

Not a single host on either sports station in NY has even presented it as a 50/50 call... to them its egregious and borderline criminal. Literally all morning!!!
One caller from Pittsburgh was immediately attacked for even suggesting it was a 50/50 call... |

Lotto has only been around since 95. Rangers moved up more spots than any other winner. |

It wasn’t 50/50
It was blatant goalie interference |

Really! Do yourself a favor stop trying to make it sound like you and the rest of the pens fans wouldn’t be saying the same thing! the pens played well it was a great game but from most ranger fans prospective the game should have been over in regulation. It was goaltender interference kakko was pushed into de smith it was a judgement and it went your way but to say every pens fan wouldn’t be saying the same thing if the situation was reversed is comical! Pens won the game but it’s the FIRST game not the fourth it’s going to be a tough series no doubt buts it’s not over.enjoy the rest of the series! |

He’s slow. Brings no physicality or skill and was the reason the Blueger line was regularly stuck in their own zone. |

Marino really deserves a lot of credit. After an abysmal start he really pulled together a great game. The Pens need him to be more involved offensively like he was last night.
I expect the Rangers to not come out the same way tomorrow. I think they come out composed and focused instead of running around like loonies, tiring themselves out.
Just have to hope Domingue has more in him. |

Long way to go feds! We will see who’s butt hurt in the end. One thing I do know if the pens win I will be one of the first ranger fans ( and there will be more) to come on here and congratulate the pens. Where will you be? Probably congratulating yourself. |

A Florida vs Carolina conference finals would be a nightmare for them.
*would be a hell of a series from a talent standpoint though. |

Hopefully Malkin can channel his inner Brian Boyle and stay planted infront if the net more. His size and hands will lend itself wonderfully to that type of game. He looked ok 5-5 otherwise. - Grinder47
If only he could have shown some effort like getting back to break up a 4-on-2 rush.
Stupid lazy Russian. |
