Honestly, I have zero clue lol. Rules looks to be absolute as written, but makes no mention of the out the refs use all the time, incidental contact...no goal, no penalty. Like most penalties, it seems to be up to what the refs feel like calling at the moment, rather than a real rule. - Pags
I feel like I've seen interference challenges that fail because the goalie wasn't in the crease. Who knows though.

I hope we aren’t missing rakell, cds, and zuck tomorrow. That could be a rough game. |

Zucker had a 2nd full practice today. He's playing tomorrow. I highly doubt CDS and Rakell play. Rakell looked dazed when he left. He won't be back for 10 days or more if they get that far. Seems like anybody that's been concussed with this team the last several years gets held out for 2 weeks minimum. Somebody said last night that he's had concussion issues.
Jarry hasn't skated yet. Louie is our guy for now. Diorio blows, so pray nothing happens to Louie. |

I wonder what Trocheck is going to want? He'd look great in a Pens jersey. |

Nah. Not if they play a puck possession game. Work the puck high to low and go to the net. |

I'm going to miss most of the 1st tonight...and that might be a good thing. I expect a similar, most likely uglier, 1st period tonight than game 1. Rangers are going to be desperate as fvck to not go down 2 games at home and we have our 3rd string goalie in net...while they have the Vezina , and arguably Hart, in their end hahaha not fit. |

Weren't the Pens one of the least penalized teams this year? |

Yeah, but who knows how the refs will react to a controversial game. |

Doubt it.
Pens were the best team in terms of net penalties this season.
Rangers were 25th. |

Probably just like the last game lol, I dunno, I don't really foresee it being that much different. Pens just don't take a lot of penalties, the Rags do. Not sure I see the script flipping on game 84. |

Should the Pens be considering Geno for net front on the PP? I think they should be... |

No lol.
Geno - RW half wall
Sid - Down low
Letang - Up high
Guentzel - bumper/net front
Rust - LW half wall
Alternatively, you can do
Geno - RW half wall
Sid - Down low/RW roamer
Letang - up high
Guentzel - Bumper
Carter - Net front
I think the second one is an option if the first one gets too pass happy, but I still want the most creative players on the ice so I still lean to the first one.

Big body, excellent hands, smart and wouldn't be getting caught at blueline for short handed attempts against. He's slower now.
Maybe a bad idea...but horrible?...come on mannnn |
