I guess that is why everyone is stick checking him. They can't seem to get the body on him or are afraid to get roasted and let him in all alone.
That's how you play Malkin. He got all sulky and ended up in the box last night. You can't do that with Crosby. He might whine to the refs when he goes back to the bench, but then he just comes back out determined to make sure you lose. We should try putting Rooney in his back pocket, a la Tikkanen.

Yeah, I know he has some points but I do agree. He has to breakout and a good time to do so would be on the road for game 3. - JRR1285
I thought Bread was noticeably better last night. Still not at his peak, but he was way more dynamic and had some zip on some cross-ice passes that wasn't there in game 1.

He did also take a hard one-timer. Maybe he is slowly getting the confidence that he can do those things without aggravating the injury.

Trouba hit him last night and he didnt go down. Its probably the best you could hope for with Crosby, hit him hard enough to just separate him from the puck.

I didn't read back, and i don't care if I take flak for it, but yes there was contact with Shesty from Carter (yes the rangers were right to go after him), but holy hell Shesty acts like hes shot when he gets touched.
