He might waive for Boston.
- VanHockeyGuy

Boston got their Sweden in Lindholm then locked him up long term.

Those are 2 obvious assets to dangle but are you willing to be patient for a few years? 2nd who has the D to move to get either? Lastly trading out a top 3 F is a set back on scoring without an heir apparent that is ready.

Imo the priority is moving out cap at a minimal cost. Patience hunting for free assets. Use the TDL with the cap space being the weapon if no deal found in the off season.

Rutherford has always been good with signing really cheap free agents and getting something from them.

May not be easy, but I'm sure they can find another team for him.

Not a lot of teams that are desperate for overpaid LHD. If he was a righty, might be a better chance.

Trade Miller for a GOOD young RHD with decent cap + maybe a pick
Sign malkin for 3 years???? Rutherford connection

Boeser - Malkin - Pod
Garlund - Bo - EP

The options are pretty limited.

Best option might be Ryan Pulock or Matt Roy. Both aren't young though 28 and 27 to start next season. NYI and LA have possible replacements on the right side and lack a real scorer. NYI highest point producer had 59 points and LA's was 67.

LA has the prospects and picks to make a deal just whether or not you want to trade him to a division opponent.

Islander could really use some help on offence.

Great work, as usual, Carol. Rutherford talks a big game, I’m hopeful that he can actually backup his mouth with action.
- LeftCoaster

lol sure does. Not expecting a 16 year PO run like in PIT but some consistency would be nice. Hoping JR's attitude is focused on building a winner and not just retirement.

@Nucker - no, I haven’t seen a single Abbotsford game or watched a si hole highlight from Woo this year. Had high hopes he was going to be a hard hitting, chip in with a few points kind of guy. Oh well.

I feel as if another recent GM said the same thing. Turned into quite a few picks being traded for nothing returns down the line. Hopefully that doesn't happen again.

Yeah, if they start trading 2nd for 25 year old AHL players who fill the age gap the podium for worst GM in Canuck history is going to be shuffling pretty fast.

I just noticed my phone corrected (whatever it is I typed) single into si hole.

He showed some promise, guess he’s on the wrong side of the 50% second round picks.

It's one of those things that just about every GM does from time to time. Some work, others don't, most don't. I wouldn't do if as often as it was done. I also wouldn't have traded away consecutive first round picks either.

I sure hope next season the roster is sorted out much better for both Canucks and Abbotsford.

Just too much gluten all around. Trim that poop down. Makes you bloated.

Forsling playing really well for Florida. A few teams should’ve kept that kid. Giroux playing well also

It's a nice city, rather boring though.
