Isn’t he something else!! Tier II Junior A to NHL superstar. Terrific skater, puck handler, above average shot, although nothing like Lordy, he’s just a fantastic pickup at #4

Well I believe they counted the play in thingy as “playoff” games/points, which has never happened before, and isn’t likely to happen again, so it isn’t exactly 🍎 to 🍎

A playoff game is a playoff game; from time to time over the last 100 years the format has changed. The facts are he played in 17 Canuck playoff games and amassed 16 points….thems the facts.

Yeah. Just the perfect Dman for that system, or for any system really. But to be able to play at the speed that the Avs do is pretty amazing for a kid his age. Him and Toews are a great pairing as well. Probably will be for many years to come.

Crazy how the Isles chose Leddy over Toews at that time.

Dobson, Toews, Pulock, Pelech would've been a real nice top 4

For sure. It's not like the Avs are starving for Defencemen. Great move by Sakic in hindsight.

With Byram’s concussion issues I’m not sure if he’s gonna have a long career.

So there's 1 person on the list behind him that played nearly as many games, and the guys ahead of him with as many games have at least 10 more points.

Basically, what you posted earlier is useless.

Crosbys had his first a decade ago. Another 5 years ago. He's is still going.

Just been watching scores, maybe if a Canadian team breaks the first round. (if its Calgary, I'd hate watch )

Bummer about Abby. Canuck luck.

The Jersey 5th might be it.....last time we traded with them got us Bo.

I guess all Canuck stuff, I gotta "trust the system" .

That’s horsepoop. As the number 7 or 8 team entering the playoffs your first opponent would never be a team at or below you in the standings.

Exactly. That's why they weren't officially playoff games yet somehow they're playoff stats.

1) I don’t care about peoples opinions on here because they, for the most part, know nothing about how the game is actually played at ice level. Great from the stands or from the TV view point.

2) See point #1

Canadian teams are fine until conference finals, that's when uncle Gary makes the call to the zebras

SHL playoff format. 7 plays 10 and 8 plays 9. 1 and 2 get a bye.

True story. Cam Stewart on the Score years back referred to it as the 'golden suitcase'

Boy, I really don't know many of those Team USA players. When I was younger, I knew all the rosters, played in hockey pools and got the new EA NHL game every 2 years or so. Now the best I can manage is following the Canucks. The covid (frank)ery hasn't helped as I've been either less inclined to care or there hasn't been games being played.

Ah well, I've been enjoying portions of a bunch of playoff games, when the wife puts up with it.

It's part of life for many. Sports are great but with everything else going on there's only so much energy to go around. I'll PVR games and watch them later, often when I wake up.

Sundays are great in the fall but even then a full day is a commitment I can't keep half the time.
