Rackell hasn't played since Game 1. Crosby looks great tonight. Jarry has been out a month with a broken bone in his foot but has practiced with the team for 4 days now. Great start to the game, 1-1.

Let's see if Gudbranson scores the winner for Calgary tonight and have another former Sen come up big in Game 7.

Impressive numbers considering it's always tougher to score in the playoffs, with teams being strong defensively, plus the best is playing the best. It's not like the regular season when you get the top teams piling it on against the bottom feeders.

Not sure that's quite a fair comparison, given that LAK never got rid of Kopitar/Doughty, and NYR never got rid of Panarin/Zibanejad. Had the Senators been able to keep Duchene/Stone while also adding Chabot, Tkachuk, Stutzle, Batherson, Norris, and Sanderson, I'm pretty sure the team would look very different. The more appropriate comparison would be teams like BUF, NJ, and DET, and the Senators are doing just fine in that regard.

How the Sens don't fire that fool of a coach with so many incredible coaching candidates available is beyond comprehension. If management doesn't fire him, then they truly aren't trying to win when there are numerous/far better options.

NYR winning the draft lottery and getting Kappo and Lafreniere sure helped too. Sometimes a team needs luck with the lottery balls. Look at AZ or BUF, they lost a few draft lotteries and picked 2nd or 3rd, when they could've had McDavid vs. Eichel, etc.

no, a 1st OA and a 2nd OA in 2 and 3 season have done little worthy of their draft selection position, Kappo has not played a full 82 games season or scored more than 10 goals, 23P he is a bust end of story and Laf has marginally improved in his 2nd year (by 2 points over a 82 games season) (31p/82 in first year to 32P/82 in season 2) tho lafg does have 4p in 7GP in the playoffs.

Hey guys, I was sick and a few nights ago I started a new piece and I think I tried to do too much in a short time and it set be back and was sick again. Now, I am 100%, sorry for the limited blogs the last 2-3 weeks. But I am working on the piece as we speak, also needing a few sources to give me the green light to say a few things about PD and what has gone on behind closed doors. Something will be up tonight or early AM. Great discussion in here as always!

They are both young but Laf has a major work ethic problem I have been told and stated that in the comment section before about him. Which is why NYR will have no problem packaging him up with other pieces to get Chychryn out in Arizona.

I never wanted Laf in the 2020 draft but Kaapo Kakko is still so young and I like what i see from him. With that said, I mentioned NYR and LAK being ahead of the Sens because we need to face facts and stay competitive if we want to win championships
