After all the talk about depth on defense, never thought a guy like Nemeth would be in the lineup.

Trade deadline acquisitions have been terrific, actually better than the core. Both Copp and Vatrano should be signed.

Zib has disappeared. The effort is there, but the results are not. Must play better if the club has any chance to win this series.

Injuries to Motte, Goodrow and Lindgren are huge, especially in a playoff series. It would certainly help if Lindgren can go next game.

Agreed with all of this but Pitt is a one line team with a 3rd string goalie. Rangers are losing these games by turning the puck over. Pitt is not winning them

Yeah can't use the injury excuse when pitt is down their top 2 goalies.

In regards to Nemeth, wasn't someone saying he was a big reason the avs got knocked out last year because he's THAT bad?

Listen I love the future of this team we should all be excited. I am also a realist I don’t expect them to go win the cup this year. I do expect them to beat Pittsburgh. I think it would be a gross under achievement to not get to the next round. Also sick and tired of Gallant laughing and brushing this loss off in the postgame presser. He has been severely out coached so far.

I honestly thought we'd be done in five games and still don't think we make it out the first round, but you have a very young team and even the best young teams have to suffer one or two playoff disappointments before figuring it out.

Hank was swept his first playoffs and then had a hell of a career. If we lose, hopefully Igor and team follow that trajectory, but with a cup

It's been a mixed bag. The Pens dominated in high dangers chances and controlled territorial play and in games 1 and 2, but basically suffered the same issue in Game 2 that you did game 3. Just awful breakdowns and turnovers in Game 2 to the point we just caved in ourselves.

I don't think you guys are far off. You made great deadline acquisitions and have a much more complete team than you did to start the season. Look, the Pens had to go through the same thing in the beginning of the Sid era. COL has had to go through quite a few and they're still figuring it out. It's all a part of the process.
