It would be hard to say "no" if he came knocking. That said, he's the type of coach you want when you feel you have your team mostly in place. The Sabres aren't there yet. Maybe if Granato turns into the "only can take them so far" kind of coach, it's a conversation worth having. We're still miles from finding that out, though.

Guy played 66 games last year... He's exactly what ppl round here are asking for and he's available... Well it would seem.

I don't know the guy but the way Dahlin presents himself, I think he's enough of a professional to understand the business and not get angry/upset at the team for trading countrymen away for the assumed betterment of the team. At least I'd hope so. Olofsson when healthy serves a quality purpose for this team, so if we could swap him for something different and more helpful, I'd definitely listen.

I'm also not worried about a contract extension for him either. Bet that baby wraps up two days before arb.

Just think he may be willing to see this rebuild for a little longer if his friends and countrymen make it more fun to play hockey in Buffalo.

Dahlins gonna get paid 10+ with or without selke larry and goaloffson.....

Would certainly be an upgrade and is probably available.

Kinda doesnt lead Winnipeg anywhere though and they have good forwards and defensemen.

He certainly would be a #1 durable upgrade 👍

The interpretation is that Kevyn needs to simply address the obvious issues, and based on his recent interviews, he intends on doing so. I don't believe a single person on this board thinks KA is getting fired this year regardless of the realistic decisions he makes.

It would be an offense for him to not make this team better in the offseason. By no means that would mean he's getting fired for not making those obvious moves.

Unless they go into rebuild mode this move wouldn't make sense from WIN's perspective. If anything I would think they might try to trade for vets so as to take advantage of the end of the window of some of their stars. They are probably the perfect example of a place where you don't want to be - not enough talent to come anywhere close to winning a cup yet not rebuilding either (and not to mention, fairly old as well).
