Unless they go into rebuild mode this move wouldn't make sense from WIN's perspective. If anything I would think they might try to trade for vets so as to take advantage of the end of the window of some of their stars. They are probably the perfect example of a place where you don't want to be - not enough talent to come anywhere close to winning a cup yet not rebuilding either (and not to mention, fairly old as well).

Making those 4 additions in one offseason where we have limited spots open and our team just turned into a real team is unrealistic to me.

I could care less about geting a forward this offseason. Find your starter, and find Power a real top 4 partner.

If you get those done early sure look for a upgrade at forward but G and D need to come first and foremost

I would look at a top 4 D first and move Joker down to the 3rd pairing/pp guy. I don't like the idea of a full season of Power playing with Joker. Adding a top 4 D doesn't take a spot away from the young core (Dahlin, Power and Samuelsson). Adding a top 6 forward could take a spot away from Quinn, JJ, Mitts/Cozens though.

But guys like Ion, who post in a format that is completely unreadable, sbroads who is constantly on the edge of a cliff and Fitz, who literally tries to fight people for looking at him the wrong way, Pegulaville who is just so much smarter and more successful than everyone in addition to Boss and his pissy attitude...

Maybe you guys are the (frank)ing problem? Yeah? Maybe coming here for the sake of coming here is the issue?

The team has sucked for 11 years now. It's been an absolute mess of an organization. Yeah the blog is slow, we don't have much to talk about and our blogger is leaving. But for a guy like Ion to call me out by name, and other dudes to say "it's the same 3 guys arguing about the same things" is (frank)ing rich, because I regularly offer lengthy and well thought out hockey posts that routinely get ignored because god forbid someone actually uses their (frank)ing brain on here once in a while, right?

I don't like to use the term snowflake but good god, the guys who keep coming on here to female dog and start poop with each other are 100% snowflakes.

Get a grip dudes. We're all posting the same poop over and over on an obscure web 1.0 hockey blog that is seen as an absolute joke all over the internet.

Every (frank)ing day with your poop. Someone proves you wrong? TELL HIM HOW SAD HIS LIFE IS DERP. Someone posts a Sponge Bob meme? WAIT 12 HOURS AND CRY ABOUT IT.

Personally, I like Joker right where he is in the Top 4. He's like the Tallinder or Lydman of the top 4. I'm fine with Fitz and Bryson as the bottom pair too. Would like to get another rugged defenceman in here if possible. I always like Mark Borowiecki.

My biggest takeaway from this is that Joker is still only 22 and will be 23 to start the season. I thought he was already like 25.

I've stated that I'm fine with him as a 4/5 guy, but Fitz seems like that classic AHL guy who just can't make it in the NHL. Rory Fitzpatrick all over again, go figure.
