Why would Tage sign a long term deal at under what he believes to be his market value? Why wouldn't he wait until after next season? - kingcong39
long term I consider 5-8 years
I think if he takes the offer 5.5 to 6 mil per he is set for life
if he gets a bad injury, he is not set for life
there is always risk when you bet on yourself with 1 year left and you had 1 good year and he is taking a risk if he is banking on himself to replicate what he did last year

Is Tage a good case for Adams to get ahead of the game for once.

I sure hope Dahlin wants to be here long term.
He didn't when he signed his most recent contract.
Going to be a very big offseason after the 22-23 season.
Adams is actually going to have to make long term decisions on players. - kingcong39
How did you discern this?
I see it as a very smart move by his Agent to not commit him to 8 years when the organization was in total disarray. It gave Dahlin the time to evaluate what is going on. To me, that is at opposite ends of "he didn't want to be here"
His comments this season should allay those fears...as long as the Org continues to show they "have it together. He is a central figure in the Band of Brothers culture being built here.

Gerbe said he turned down an offer and Buffalo wasnt thrilled with him doing so.
I just did a lotto sim and it had us only moving up to 2nd(7 spots) and Columbus 3rd (9 spots).
Montreal stayed at #1.
Hows this work? - DirtyDan
Sounds like maybe Columbus won but Buffalo bumped them down after winning lottery 2? There's a sample of what kingcong was asking about. Keep in mind it's just a fan site tho, so who knows if the simulator got it right.
