Canucks don't need a playoff coach, they are good with a regular season coach. |

He would fix the defensive side of things.
Edit; Boudreau would help the Islanders on the offensive side of things. |

Better offensive players would help the islanders on the offensive side of things. They have a couple really good pieces and a bunch of old crap. |

They could use a good 30 goal scorer like Boeser. Maybe send Pulock back this way. |

Coincidentally, that is the same record as Jon Cooper and also the Tampa Bay Lightning, over that same time period. - Reubenkincade

What's up with the real lopsided scores so far? Seems odd for playoff hockey - NewYorkNuck
Was reading so far through 22 games that the average winning score was by 3.27 goals or something. That's very strange for playoffs. |

John Tavares looks really slow. He's still a beast recovering pucks and making plays below the hashmarks in the o-zone, but he's been a non-factor in every other part of the ice. That contract looks like it could become a real problem
Trade Miller. Acquire Tavares for their 1st round pick in 2022, 3rd round pick in 2022, 2nd round pick in 2023.
Tavares then MTA's and signs back with Toronto for league minimum. |

I wasn't expecting to be thinking about Barry Trotz on this Monday morming, but here we are.
I ponder whether his sudden availability changes anything around whether or not Bruce Boudreau returns to Vancouver, and talk Draft Lottery, in the new blog.

Get Boudreau signed. Maybe move Garland and Pearson. Add a 3LC and a RH Dman that can move up/down the pairings. Start there. |
