Roughly right they should have somewhere around $9.2m to sign those guys.
If their top UFA's and RFA'S all just resigned at their current Cap hit, it amounts to about $10.9m.
(All figures computed on my fingers and toes)
That would be for ~24 contracts.
It includes Giordano at $3.4m, who I would imagine he is a casualty; so reduce that $10.9m down to $7.5m.

Offer sheets are soap operas at best. I believe they come with the same rules as the rest of the offseason, that you can exceed the cap by 10%. I'm sure they have a rough number for Timmy L in mind already and know what they need to do to prepare for him and Sandin.

A second round compensation for either of them just won't happen.

To me, the bigger point is TO should be a target for guys like Campbell, Lyubushkin.

Issue an OS to Lilgren, then follow it up with 1 for Sandin...really F them...then have you way with Cambell and Lyubushkin, lol!
