Kane would be a huge addition, he hasn't slowed down a bit. He quietly posted 92pts in 78 games this year. But I am mostly afraid of what they'd pay for him without any sort of extension in place. Or that Lou would get him and extend him 8 years until he's 41 - eichiefs9
Guy still has the best hands in the NHL imo. If he jelled with Barzal that would be some fun line to watch… |

Would (probably)be a phenomenal duo. Kane on the top line with Barzal would be sick. Unfortunately, Chicagos' ask wouldn't be too reasonable.

Lee-Barzal-Kane would be a hell of a line. Barzal/Kane could draw a lot of attention and get the puck to Lee. |

It would be awesome, I just think A)the ask would be way too much & B)not sure how they'd fit his cap space in. |

On the Trouba hit, intentional or not his elbow made contact to Sids head and I thought it would at least warrant a hearing and maybe a game. If Panarin took a hit like that the Rags fans would be screaming bloody murder! ( As IHM correctly stated) NHL loves those NY ratings! |

I mean I think everyone would like a skilled player, generally speaking.
I don't doubt that they're probably more likely to trade it than use it, but until then it's about the only worthwhile thing anyone here will have to discuss until free agency - eichiefs9
I was just (frank)ing with you because you seem to like the Ruskie Dangler's.
Wouldn't mind Kane coming and he would be more apt to come if Quinneville was hired by Lou. They have a great relationship. I always liked him. I think Chicago would have to eat some of his salary to make it happen though. Would love to see Kane skating with Nelson.
That said, I think Lou's main focus is a puck moving Dman. |

Of course they are. What else do they have? Funny how it's "unfortunate" when it's an opponents player. If it where one of theirs they'd be screaming bloody murder and saying he was a dirty player. - Isleshockeyman
It happened to Rooney. Malkin cross checked him in the face. Unfortunate

Rooney didn't get knocked out of the game. And Malkin was penalized for it. Not to mention Rooney's hands got pretty high up on Malkin as well. |

I know with every fabric of my soul I should be rooting against the Lightning, especially Point scoring a winner….but Jesus, I just don’t want the Maple Leafs to win a series. |

So does almost everyone outside Toronto.
Tavares finally had a good game last night, albeit in a losing effort. He must have been inspired by my recent posts about him.
I would love to see both teams lose, but since that's not possible, I am rooting for Toronto. I don't think they have much chance of winning the Cup, whereas Tampa is a definite threat to 3-peat. Tampa has the playoff experience and the elite goaltending. |

Not really sure who will win game 7. Tampa doesn’t seem to be the team they have been the last couple of seasons. Vasi certainly isn’t playing that wonderful or even close to what he’s capable of. I’m hoping Tampa wins it. It’ll be hysterical to watch them blow that team up if they don’t make it out of the first round. I can’t stand Dubas love to see him jettisoned into outer space. With that said game 7 can go either way imo… |

They are like the penguins without the cups to back up their arrogance. The team, management, fans, there’s literally nothing I like about Toronto and it has nothing to do with Tavares. Felt this way about them long before we even drafted JT. |

i hate toronto more than the rangers and lightning. it's a poopass city filled with smug jerkoffs who like a jerkoff hockey team who think they live in NYC or LA, but it's canada with a history of losing. they stuck with the crown instead of joining the revolutionary war, (frank) em.

I mean Tampa lost coleman, gourde and goodrow their entire 3rd line that was physical and could score. That's a lot of depth |

The Leaf fans on this site also elevated my hatred for the Leafs. There are some exceptions but the vast majority are woke half wits that have bought into whatever media narrative is getting crapped across MSNBC that week. It politibuzz everyday over there and they have two moderators that ban anyone against said narrative. |

I don't care about him anymore. Haven't for a long time. He's just another player on a trash team. I want TB to beat the Laffs tomorrow and then lose in the next round. |

Yeah sure coupled with some subpar performances at times by the players I mentioned Vasi especially. He has been more porous then usual at times. The loss of depth I’m sure is impactful on players performances as well of course. |
