The thing is he was there as a security blanket if Lindgren went down. I think this is just being made into a thing for no reason.

Maybe. But I don't think he moves the needle if Lindgren leaves the game is all I am saying.

If Nemeth played minutes I’d agree. The whole point is what was he there for? Water boy? He obviously was never intending on using him. Lindgren even left the game and they went to 5 D.

Idk maybe let him watch a game from the bench? That’s all Nemeth did. You can’t baby these guys.

Probably cause they knew Lindgren wasn't seriously hurt so spread out the minutes to the other d-men for a couple shifts. Basically think of Nemeth as a scratch last night. Its what everyone wanted

I get it, it just makes no sense.

Jones showed a lot the game he played at the end. He couldn’t possibly be any worse than Nemeth. Braun at least was serviceable last night

Yes exactly. At this point Nemeth needs to be as far away from the ice as possible haha

I was on his side earlier in the season if you recall lol. I gave him a chance up until I couldnt anymore

But I believe some actually say Nemeth is a big part of Colorado's exit from one of the recent playoff years.

I'm with you guys. I don't particularly care for Nemeth, but I also dont put a dude who only played 12 games in the regular season and only stood out in a meaningless one at the end in an elimination game. Jones will get his shot, just wont be this year, unless you injure Braun and Nemeth

Id seriously take Hajek over Nemeth rn. Yikes to think that

Anyway it’s a moot point because they won.. but dressing 7 D isn’t a terrible idea if you do it properly

I guess i should grovel for this too…

I don’t want to see Crosby terminally ill, just wanted to see blood from his nose. That’s all.

Same. Even after all of his absences which were apparently personal I thought he might come back better. He proved me wrong.

He would be good 10 years ago. The game is way to fast for him

They gotta figure out how to play a full 60 minutes tho. Game 2 probably was the best effort. But last night the first half was more of the same.

Maybe he will go the way of Markus Naslund and retire.

Can't wait for the conclusion of the series. Should be pretty intense.

Crazy thing about the hit last night from trouba. Probably only Mika and Crosby leave the game based on their history. The contact was not all that hard honestly.

Maybe it was completely precautionary? They pretty much had the game in the bag. I expect him to be in for game 6 and the Rangers likely won't have an answer.
