Lafrenière, Kakko and Chytil have been so much better in the playoffs than Jack Hughes, Tim Stuetzle, Lucas Raymond, Anton Lundell, Trevor Zegras, Matt Boldy, Quinton Byfield, Cole Caufield lmaoooo - Rangers99
Win or lose this series, that’s a huge positive. They are all holding their own
My words tasted delicious when Chytil scored. Now just keep scoring please for the love of god |

I know it's a small sample size but Lafrenière and Kakko look like their style of play is made for the playoffs. |

Some would. I try to look at things from a non fan perspective. Why I laughed at the Jeff Carter/Shesty thing. Carter wasn't targeting Shesty, but he wasn't getting out of the way either. Shesty stuck his leg out a tiny bit then acted like he got shot. - mdw7413

Yup. The funny thing is you could argue the hit on Guentzel in the 1st was the dirty play. Can't really defend that one. I get fans are upset their best player got injured, but in a world of bad takes I have seen some doozies this morning. - mdw7413
In complete agreement here. Crosby getting hurt is the big story line but in my opinion while somewhat reckless by Trouba, it was more incidental than intentional and probably deserving of a penalty but not a suspension.
The hit on Guentzel in the first 20 seconds could definitely be something that is looked at by the league. That looked way more targeted and clearly an elbow to the head.
Malkin also just did the same thing to Rooney that he got suspended 4 games for about a month ago and that could be looked at also.
End of the day I think we come away with no suspensions here but wouldn't be shocked if Trouba and Malkin both get a game |

it's much more straightforward when i can just direct my anger at our team and the refs. once that's off the table poop gets all shades of grey |

Wouldn't we expect the league to make an announcement soon about a hearing/fine for Trouba? |

Yup, luckily Guentzel didn't get hurt, but that one , if he did, would have got Trouba in trouble possibly.

wonder why they weren't running kakko on the pp2 late in the game- pretty sure it was copp, trouba, vatrano, laf, chytil, which obviously worked out with chytil scoring, but found it odd. migth have been the 11 forward thing maybe

Kakko also never seemed to go back to PP2 after his injuries during the regular season. |

seems like another case of GG being GG. Copp has been great with Panarin but he definitely does not have the offensive potential that Kakko does |

ah don't think i noticed that, but then again i think pp2 has more ice time this series than the whole season |

I think cause Kakko is so defensively responsible. His offense is coming around but he is sooo good away from the puck. |
