I still do not understand why Trotz was fired. My impression is that Nashville and Washington did not win every game 1-0 or 2-1 while he was there. I am sick of the Cheap shots that players like Crosby take without action by the league to protect them. The Rangers were done and it takes a jerk like Trouba to change the outcome of a series by targeting Crosby. Yeah I said it TARGETING Crosby. If he wants to be a jerk he should be punished by the league for being a Freakin Jerk. But the NHL has no balls and does nothing. These kinda of things will keep happening unless the league officials take charge Open season on star players They should all hire body guards like Dave Sememko to protect them. Dont think Trouba tried injuring Crosby. Then again, winning is all that matters so if he did, I wouldn't fault him for it. Crosby had Sanduskied the Rags this series. Very unimpressed with Rags so far. Thought they improved at the deadline but they still rely so heavily on elite goaltending to win. Just like in the Lundqvist era.
