Bummer!
Saw them twice, including their last tour in Philly with Pissed Jeans. Brought my daughter who isn't much of a Mudhoney fan, but a huge Pissed Jeans fan. After seeing them she gets it. Have you seen them before? They still bring it, although Mark Arm is slowly becoming Iggy Pop.

Not a big TS fan, but love Dee from the footage I've seen and of course the PMRC hearings from back in the day. I'll check it out.

I never saw them so for me it was bucket list. I saw Dinosaur Jr last year in Brooklyn and I was shocked at how hard they rocked. Was one of the best shows Ive ever been to.

i hate this lol

i dont even expect like actual late round playoff success anymore. im fine with what was delivered in this era. but i (frank)ng hate for the swan song to be this.

no offense to you guys. you have not hit the top peak of your roller coaster ride yet. youre still cranking upwards. young team that isnt even receiving full on contribution from laff and kaako. miller is a (frank)ing gem stud. douchebag shesty is going to be a top 5 goalie for a decade.

but fretting over the likes of (frank)ing evan i got the gatorade in college for jach eichel rodrigues as the swan song (frank)s me up. (frank) this.

Sucks to go out this way, but you got 3 Cups and are still have a heck of a team for this year. Going to be an interesting off season for you. Who will take really low team friendly deals to stay and help build the team or not get qualified remains to be seen. As much as I despise Crysby, I hope his brains aren't mush. He's taken way too many concussions and, don't get me wrong, he still clearly has the talent, but it might be time to hang 'em up before he's permanently injured.
We are a frustrating young team that clearly hasn't reached it's potential. No matter what happens on Sunday this has been exactly what this team needs to experience to get that taste.

i get it. the crysby stuff is dumb and played out. crosby is still a stud. but i get the irrational hate. of all people on your team i legitimately hate kreider. i get it. i would (frank)ing probably swing at him if i ever saw him. literally no reason. his (frank)ing preppy face and douche bag facial hair. but hes a great player. thats rivalry hockey.

like you said. sucks to go out this way but all poop ends. three cups. thats a (frank)ing era. bad way to have it end but interesting decisions on the horizons for sure. id blank check 71 and 58. im fully on board the nostalgia tour, band doesnt have any good albums but plays the hits stage type deal.

Kreider and Zib are incredibly tight, always propping each other up. Some of you may have seen CK throw the iPad during the game while Mika was trying to watch it.

Why? "He was looking at the breakaway and I heard him start second guessing his move. I didn't really like that."

Love it! Give him the C already before next game!

Miller needs to use his body more tho. I love the guy, he’s so big but he doesn’t use his huge frame enough. His offensive skills are very underrated tho.
- Slimtj100

i think he will figure out both and marry them to become a hell of a player. hope he only plays one more game this year, but he has a hell of a career in front of him. like i said, i hate the rangers. i do. but its hard to hate a lot of the players on them. kreider is my exception.

zibby is a stud player but he (frank)ing hates himself more than i ever could. dude is ugly as sin with that (frank)ing lice ridden wanna be samurai hair. who else though? trouba sure but thats recency bias. cant hate reaves. bread man is a stud. laff/kaap no reason.

7 game sevens. Wow. Amazing.

We can all agree that playoff hockey, cannot and will not, ever in a million years be second to anything on the telly/or live..or in life for that matter.

Saw them at City Gardens in Trenton on the Green Mind tour with My Bloody Valentine opening! That was my first exposure to MBV and was blown away to say the least. Was working part time at a CD store and immediately bought Loveless which has been in steady rotation ever since. Scored the Japanese vinyl pressing a few years ago for $20. I bought the purple cow/gorilla shirt at the show which is a family favorite that doesn't have much life left, so my daughter bought us both the shirt that only has the cow on the front for Christmas several years ago which was really sweet. She stole it once to wear to school, which is fine, but I told her the next time I'd wear it was to see them again which we did a few years ago in Philly on Give A Glimpse tour with Negative Approach opening. John Brannon is Rollins on meth. My buddy said Brannon was picturing his ex-wife taking him to the bank while singing. Actually a nice guy, but really intense.
Dino Jr. is still really good live and would like to see them again.

Let me shed some light on why I’ve been this way this week…I feel I may owe it to you all lol…

My feelings on Crosby stem from one thing really, and one thing only. Callahan slewfoot. It was dirty, it was nasty and he’s lucky he didn’t seriously hurt him. Oh and he was, at that time, my favorite Ranger. Amongst the other stuff he does it gets to you lol. And he is an amazing player and it bothers me that he needs to be dirty. Be tough sure, but he doesn’t need to be dirty. And he gets the extra treatment on top of it. He’s to good of player to, imo, tarnish his career with that garbage. Karma bit him in the ass this week, and it made me happy. If I’m bad the guy for that, soebit 🤷🏻‍♂️

Really don't get the Kreider hate. To me he's been a consummate pro who either really likes Frank Zappa or Captain Morgan.
I still have a great disdain for the preferential treatment the league gave to Sid, so, yeah, I'd probably punch him. I can't get past the slew foot he gave to Callahan, with Cally getting the penalty for being close to Crosby.
Tough decisions for sure, but as a fan there's no way I'd give Malkin a big contract given his injury history, same for Cindy. They've made their money and if they want to stick around they have to take team friendly deals, which I think they will because obviously they are a huge part of the team and veteran leadership.

callahan is an unhateable player. sure disliked him as a rag but hes that type of guy. but no rational pens fan will sell you that crosby is an angel. hes not. but just be objective about what the league is. its not right but lots of guys slew foot. it doesnt make it okay but its what they do. he gets the extra treatment because he was/is that good. my thing is, there is a difference, whether you agree with me or not, between slew footing and head shots. crosby doesnt deserve a vigil because he got clipped but no, you shouldnt be happy dudes get hit high.

i want kreider eating dirt but i dont want him put out with a flying elbow. and this isnt even saying trouba is an anomaly. guys throughout the league hit high just like guys slew floot. crosby deserves no sympathy. its all one big pot of (frank) all. slew foots and high hits etc. but its all gotta be acknowledged both ways or not at all.

Completely agree with all of this, I almost bought a Cally Olympic sweater.

oh if i didnt make it clear. my kreider hate is not rational, which is why most of your guys crosby hate should be too.

as an actual player and how he plays the game? nothing but respect for kreider. but rivalries need hate. he is mine. little prep boy wussy face who needs hate.

im not here to preach you guys loving crosby either. rivalries need hate. its what makes this whole steam engine run. i just ask for objectivity when we shoot the poop about certain things. and i know thats hard. on both sides. we're all fans.

Cally was one of the hardest working players I've ever seen and that took a huge toll on his body leading to early retirement.
My biggest issue with Crosby was the protection and look the other way the NHL gave him for being possibly the next Gretzky, and he abused it with impunity.
The game is so fast that some hits will not be executed as planned. Stick gets caught, head gets lowered at the last second, body turns, etc. Watching the game in slo-mo replay may or may not be the best judge of what happens on the ice since it's literally the fastest game on earth and trying to dissect a play that happens in milliseconds is impossible.

Spot on. The stars always garner the most attention and therefore the most polarization. Emotions run high, especially during the playoffs and some get out of hand. At the end of the series most of us will gladly do the virtual handshake.

Still don't want Cindy Crysby on the Rangers. Ever.

You’re missing my point…it bothers me that HE, a top 5 all time player, feels the need to be dirty player. That really bothers me and why I truly think he’s my least favorite player ever I wanna respect him, but I can’t

I hate him, with a passion and Iam unable to rationally think otherwise

I gotta say, McDavid is starting to develop a bit of a dirty game to him. Hes making some ugly/dangerous hits.

Yea Ive seen it too

Crosby is also in our faces much more than most players, so it’s very easy to hate the guy. Do I want him hurt seriously no lol but I think karma worked in our favor for once, and it was tasty

Because seriously, that elbow, most players that doesn’t even phase the guy. He’s got a concussion history, I wonder why….hmmm

literally none of this is wrong, objectively or subjectively in my opinion. but win or lose the game to me it still isnt like a (frank) yeah glad hes head shotted and done type deal.

and you should hate him. for all of the above and more. again, hate makes this system go. you are going to win this series. you dont need to embrace his injury lol

I would NEVER wish permanent harm on anyone. When we as fans want effort/statement shots, we want more of a “rude awakening” hit. Something that effects momentum, maybe keeps the player out for an extra shift or two or the period to clear the cobwebs. Thats where the physical part of the game comes into play. However, headshots although occur arent always intentional, especially when timing is fractions apart. If one guy is coming in for a hit and the other is trying to make a play, its hard to account for someone lowering their body in a millisecond. Sure, tag the guy with a roughing, but in the moment of the hit to suspend someone, thats a rough call.
