7 game sevens. Wow. Amazing.

We can all agree that playoff hockey, cannot and will not, ever in a million years be second to anything on the telly/or live..or in life for that matter.

Housewives of Atlanta be damned haha

It's 5 Game 7's tj, with you likely being overloaded in celebrating, ("haha"), which will take place in this 1st Round for the first time since 1992 that has occurred.

And yes, no other sport, nor anything else seen live in person or on t.v. can ever top the suspense, intensity & battle that is NHL playoff hockey. It's also why the Stanley Cup is the most difficult championship to win of any team sport.

i get it. the crysby stuff is dumb and played out. crosby is still a stud. but i get the irrational hate. of all people on your team i legitimately hate kreider. i get it. i would (frank)ing probably swing at him if i ever saw him. literally no reason. his (frank)ing preppy face and douche bag facial hair. but hes a great player. thats rivalry hockey.

like you said. sucks to go out this way but all poop ends. three cups. thats a (frank)ing era. bad way to have it end but interesting decisions on the horizons for sure. id blank check 71 and 58. im fully on board the nostalgia tour, band doesnt have any good albums but plays the hits stage type deal.

I saw an analogy that watching playoff hockey is like snorting cocaine and then riding a motorcycle out of a helicopter

I think that nails it

Ya know what has been driving crazy this entire series is why we continue to give up the neutral zone and make it easy for Pitt to come in easily where we are then playing on our heels for the majority of the time. Am I the only one that has noticed this constantly? We have to be better 5v5 in game 7. We have been getting stuck in deep where then the ice is tilted. I literally want to shake Gallant and be like look at the f*cking tape and watch the 3 period last night as a microcosm.

Yea same. Something is def wrong with him. He was hurt at the end so it bet it’s lingering. And probably not healing at all
- Slimtj100

It was his lower back. I can see it, that can definitely make him less dynamic.

They have made life very easy for them. Miller didn’t throw one hit last night, 0 hits. In 25 minutes. He led the team in toi. He especially needs to get a lil meaner as the years go on. Not trying to kill him, just saying he’ll learn the playoffs you need to be like that

Turnovers, Turnovers, Turnovers. 5v5,

Young team, back in the playoffs for the first time in 4yrs. Growing pains. Definitely not for the faint of heart.

Nothing bad comes from this series. All learning experiences. We need just one game of a solid 60 minutes, just one game and they are due for one, tomorrow would be nice for it to happen!!!

i gotta say you’ve been an all star in the playoffs. Voice of reason

I’m at the point now, since they pulled out the last two games, where I’m ok with a hard fought loss tomorrow. None of this carbon copy crap tho. Just give me a full 60 minutes and OT if necessary and let the chips fall where they may

The rangers just look tight and are waiting for something good to happen. When i watch Pitt they are playing loose with less regard if they get caught in an odd man rush situation. Say what you want but the mental part of the game has definitely taken a role on each team. I get the notion Pitt comes out feeling they have nothing to lose playing with a 3rd string goalie, no Crosby and missing key players. As the Rangers are feeling the pressure to out perform and that they should be winning this series with ease which has been totally opposite of the mantra they have been preaching. Very difficult to manage with such a young team. I want Jarry starting game 7 honestly. Crosby ehh he can stay out another game. Rangers need to come out of the gate and set the tone which I fully expect them to. I’m sick this falling behind BS. I want to see more 50/50 pucks being won and a little bit of more desperation to there game. I thought game 1 was there best game. I want to see more of that.

Just because I dont think they can win the Cup this year, doesnt me I dont want them too!!!

Baby steps!! Make the playoffs, learn what it takes to win in the playoffs, win the damn Cup!!

Game 7, pressure is on, doesnt get better than this!!

We should be able to pull out a win tomorrow, we just have to stop with these damn turnovers in our zone, tighten it up defensively. The teams even out but we have the better goalie, very winnable game!!!!

If Boston can win today that would make it an easier road imo. Taking nothing away from Boston, I just like that matchup. Im not sure anyone can beat Colorado but man that would be fun to try

callahan is an unhateable player. sure disliked him as a rag but hes that type of guy. but no rational pens fan will sell you that crosby is an angel. hes not. but just be objective about what the league is. its not right but lots of guys slew foot. it doesnt make it okay but its what they do. he gets the extra treatment because he was/is that good. my thing is, there is a difference, whether you agree with me or not, between slew footing and head shots. crosby doesnt deserve a vigil because he got clipped but no, you shouldnt be happy dudes get hit high.

i want kreider eating dirt but i dont want him put out with a flying elbow. and this isnt even saying trouba is an anomaly. guys throughout the league hit high just like guys slew floot. crosby deserves no sympathy. its all one big pot of (frank) all. slew foots and high hits etc. but its all gotta be acknowledged both ways or not at all.

- stayinthefnnet

The only person eating dirt would be you if you think your tougher than Krieder. How about Crosby sticking the opposing player in the nuts, or tossing a player into the boards with no penalty. OH adam graves suspend for a slash on can't touch Mario. The list goes both ways. Crosby is a great generational talent who skates around with the smug face.

Buddy, Kreider would literally put me through dry wall. Literally any nhl player here, down to the pussiest one, would probably absolutely barrell anyone on these boards.

I’m not going to make this about a reading comprehension issue, but have literally none of you taken a swing at a bigger dude on principle? Some things are worth the ass whooping.

Again, some of you need to pull out the highlighter and find where I say Crosby is some angel immune to all of this criticism. It’s wild.

The neutral zone / play through the middle of the ice, whether with or without the puck, has been an issue for years.

Defensively theyre a sieve and play extremely passive. Offensively, they turn over the puck a lot, they dump and chase a lot, there seems to be this lack of desire to enter the zone with the puck on your stick. However, one bright spot is that LAF does like to carry the puck into the zone.

Oh it was huge.

And like I said. That was a weak exchange. Honestly I have a hard time being that mad at him there. On the list of dumb retaliatory they take that was way low
