Before you say any crap about the flyers please note that since 68 . Flyers 2 Stanley cups, 6 other appearances in the Stanley cup finals. Multiple semi final appearances. They also were the last team to knock out the leafs in the second round…..18 years ago😂😂😂 - Keyser soze

I am still in awe that a ref can call a penalty that he didn't see.
It has to stop. - bobbyisno1
It's truly impressive.
The only downside to all this is that they'll probably hire a ref/former ref to be the guy making the calls on review. And they're all incredibly (frank)ing stupid.
Do the refs review the game or do they have supervisors, like, is there any recourse to this poop reffing???
Can't be a dictatorship and a big (frank) you to the league and players, can it? Do they even get reprimanded, like, at all?
I (frank)ing hate it. For all teams and the league.
The refs suck balls and seems like nothing ever happens. Players get fines, suspension, penalties; poop even the coaches get fines. Refs get a big fat nada?!?!!?

Couple other points:
1. The Leafs are playing well. Last night's loss sucked but they played their asses off. Losses are soooo much easier to deal with when the team actually shows up. Would like to get to the 2nd round to shut a few female genitalias up tho.
2. On the reffing solution....so.(frank)ing.easy....a 5th video review ref off the ice that reviews all calls in real-time and overturns or sustains the call. Plain and simple, no mistakes ever again. ALL CALLS reviewed in real-time. Not sure how you deal with "MISSED" calls like the Killorn thing unless it affects the outcome of the play but since it happens on both sides, I can live with that a bit more. But the high stick call, should not happen. Ever.

Calling penalties that are not seen is unacceptable, that ref should be fired.

I get it man. My team benefitted in that game. But, I go into every game knowing that NHL officiating is utter poop. It's the worst and most inconsistent in all of major-league sports. An umpire who can't call balls and strikes would be fired after one inning.
As a fan, you just have to hope that the crap officiating balances out over the course of a seven game series.
For 38 years,I've been watching the leafs,,from inside the womb to out. The leafs have leafed me every time I get my hopes up. 93,2001,2011,2021 to name just a few.
This may be the Labatt blues talking but I beleaf these boys will get it done tomorrow night and exercise the demons, ghosts,Ballard's,curses whatever you want to call it .

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
Easy to preach "perspective" when you have benefited and the other team hasn't.

Poop calls are one thing, calling a penalty that he clearly did not see smells of something completely different.

Lightning were officiating whipping boys back in the 90's, but that's ancient history now. I'm not preaching, just pointing out what we hope for as fans - balance. We rarely (if ever) get it. Last night was trash, but the trash ended up scattered on the Leafs lawn and not the Lightning's.
You'll forget all about the poopty refs when the Leafs eliminate the Bolts tomorrow.

Dang. Loser Flyer trolls are the most hurtful trolls of all. Now I’m going to worry that we might lose game 7. - Canada Cup
Short musical interlude. On this day in history 59 years ago, Bob Dylan stunned America by walking off the Ed Sullivan show in protest of not being able to perform a song off his landmark Free Wheelin album. This was that song, and this was 3 years before the Beatles were forced to add a pasty to cover up the infamous Butcher Block Album. Dylan's record company made him take this song and another off the album. American censorship at its finest. Not as well known as the Woodstock Concert but in reality, this was where the protests of the 60's started. If you are lucky enough to own an original pressing of Free Wheelin with the later deleted tracks, its worth a fortune.
