I mean . . .I don't have any faith in the DoPS, but Zadorov shouldn't be playing in game 7, and if they make it, not in game 1 or 2 of the next series either. Christ he had a head shot, tried to take out a guy's knee, and then refused to stop fighting with 10 seconds left in the game? Not a great game.

They are 0-8 in games where they can close out a series.

Why the frank should we expect #9 to be different?

- Atomic Wedgie

This is a tougher Leaf team. They are playing good 200' hockey.

Before the series started, do you not think most Leaf fans would have accepted an offer of a game 7 showdown on home ice as the likely outcome after 6 games?

Tampa is the defending Stanley Cup champions (2x). It is hard to kill a proud King. I have been really impressed by this Leaf team. They will not go away in game 7. On the other hand, I don't think Tampa has much left. I am expecting a decisive Leaf win in game 7.

Remember this prediction as you watch the game tonight. It will be all over by the end of the second period. The third period will become a grand festival of celebration for Leaf fans as they cast off some of the disappointment from previous playoff appearances.

You don't get to come in here and call us cry babies, maybe if we go into your barn, but you are a guest here. Kindly act appropriately.

i think that hole is going to surprise everyone and be dressed tomorrow🤦‍♂️
- Skalapy

Going to keep him in mostly because of his size at this point. Not his hockey IQ for certain.

Any thoughts on Cliff in for Kase on the 4th with Spezz and Blackwell? A bit more beef for some early hits.

I like Kase, but he just seems to be playing not to get hurt at this point.

That's all the Leafs need, more excuses for the refs to blow the whistle.

The idiocy at the end of the Flames games is the sort of embarrassing bullpoop you see all too often from Sutter's teams. Some guys "like that passion". I'd like to see suspensions doled out so players stop being such poor losers.

You don't like it? Play (frank)ing better. Jesus Christ.

- Monkeypunk

Seriously.

It's this kind of bs that the league continues to look the other way on.

Clifford should not never be a Game 7.

The "I just hope they play a good game tonight" crowd seems to be growing in numbers.

Not a lot of faith for this team to advance. Leafs need to jump out of the gate with energy and score one early.

Because they’re a very good team that played Tampa well all year and that outplayed for a large part of game 6. Maybe a good part of why “we” shouldn’t expect anything any different is more because of “our” psyche than because of this year’s team.

To be clear, they are playing a very good team that has a realistic chance to three-peat which would be an amazing accomplishment. Obviously the Leafs could lose this game but the oh God poop says more about us than them.

Saw the first episode. They got a great feel of the old ones IMO. My buddy worked on the shows. Said he was laughing the whole time.

I’m working hard on an “it would be nice if the Leafs won” attitude. Working very hard with somewhat limited success

I'm resigned to fate at this point.

Two very good teams marching towards fate and history. One of two things will happen : a historic threepeat quest continues, or a historic curse is broken.

I'm OK with either result honestly. Bolts have had a great run. They owned the Covid era. If it ends now, I can't complain without sounding like a cocksocket.

I mean Kase has been largely invisible. He has thrown 1 more hit in his 6 games and 46 minutes of ice time than Clifford threw in his ill-fated 25 seconds of ice time.

Curiously he has 3 assists this series - 2 in game 1, and a primary one last game (albeit on the scrambly play that led to Tavares' first goal). He hasn't been a liability and has perhaps been a quiet net positive, but you'd almost never know it.

Clifford . . .I don't know. I guess the idea is that if Tampa is going to try and come in and run the team over to gain advantage, it's his job to stop it - but that seems like a stretch for him. He's not bringing much else. Hopefully he doesn't bring another 5 minutes and a game in his first shift.

Maybe he's been showing well in practice and Kase is still recovering and there's a bit more to the reasoning?

We were the youngest people there.

He’s 76, and he’s still Canada’s best guitarist.

Voice isn’t 100%, sadly.

No. Alex Lifeson says hello. By far better guitarist.

Gotta feel for the Penguins. They were controlling the third last night without Sid until their Lemon Meringue goalie let in a softie
