Tampas defence is so much better than Toronto’s. Soupy is doing it all back there.

Saw the Holl replay he did interfere & coulda done better at it. No reason he needs to go there & if he hits the brakes sooner then all good. Tough call to eat though.

This year and the last few? Crappy, 'cuz we didn't get in the playoffs. But we've had a shoestring budget and marginal coaching.

Yet on that same shoestring budget, Ottawa's been to more playoff games in the last three decades than the Leas have. So you see, it's all a matter of perspective.

That being said, I do hope the Leafs win tonight so we can get one CND team closer to the cup. Ottawa may be my team, but I still root for the CND team going the furthest.

Everyone’s on me because they think I hate Willy, I don’t at all. I just think he’s soft and tuned out a lot. But I’ve always been clear about wanting to move him to improve the defence.

There is a lot to be said about roster construction & cap allocation. Canes a great example of depth & how to spend. TB yes but they manipulated the cap last year.

I hearya. I think JT screwed it all up to start with. Willy only gets the blame cuz low hanging fruit imo. D is a no brainer & the cap has to come from somewhere.
