Yep. Same story every playoff. I would move one… Matthews is untouchable but everyone else is on the table. Even MARNER. - Hockey_Reverend

Great a 20-25 goal score for 2 or 3 months costing a first round pick and maybe more. - bobbyisno1
What... The (frank) are you talking about. What about me saying free agency equated to short term and giving up assets. |

I gotta agree with Joel on this one fellas. - Scabeh
At the very least, the coach needs to go along with personnel changes. They need a new voice. My personal choice would be Joel Quenville, though I highly doubt Dubas would hire him. |

How did the refs figure in this one again? - docmorgan
Um no interference calls on both of Tampas goals, low and behold one on a Leaf goal though. |

Not saying these 4 played bad but Matthews, Tavares, Marner, and Nylander combine for $50 mill CAD - and produced 0 goals in the biggest game of the season. I don't know how you justify that. - AlfieisKing
can you??? or
would you?
please explain ......

Ya, he has too much experience and championship caliber. Better hire someone with no NHL experience… |

I don't know.
If it was the second or third time this had happened i might agree
This time DID feel a little different to me as an outsider, but this is a persisting problem. - david22
Take it from someone who faced Toronto last year.
This vesrion of the Leafs was better than the last one.
No question about it.

Engvall as well - dmnted
I think Engvall is FA. I hope that one is obvious to the leafs, pack him a suitcase.
If Dubas comes out with some bullpoop about believing in this group and maintaining the status quo I'm gonna change my tune on him real fast me thinks. |

Nick (frank)ing Paul took it over instead. |

You mean the dirtiest player in the NHL not named Brad Marchand? - BeadyEyedDouche
Kucherov is stealthily a little piece of poop. Was really rooting for the leafs to take them out. You guys have a lot to look forward to in the future. Once they learn to win a series, the leafs will start doing damage

Yes if Dubas is still GM. He’s done great at building a base but hasn’t added the intangibles needed. Close but not good enough. |

Unfortunately we will have to move Nylander for cap reasons. Need to sign a goalie and a couple of D. We’re done in 5 this series without him so it kinda sucks. |

Sorry to see a Canadian team eliminated…I really thought this would be your year. Very impressive team but you got to get rid of Tavares, and use that money for your D. Give the C and team to the kids!!!!!! Matthew’s must step up, if he is the leader treat him accordingly and it will be up to him if he lives up to it! |

Biggest bs call of the series.
That poop happens every game but tonight they chose to call it. - bryant
just feels so predictable, like TB would not have gotten called for the same thing in the exact same circumstance.

Leafs were much better this year. Honestly they probably deserved to win this series. But doesn't change the results. IMO Keefe is fired, Dubas is fired, Shanahan is fired and Nylander is traded. Those are the major moves. - PlatosRepucklic

Tavares is immovable without giving up picks and even then only a few teams could even think about taking his big cap |
